#ReturnToTheFather
“``And some of you, when you repent, listen to me, God is not waiting to say, uh-huh, I got you. I knew you were guilty. God is waiting for you to say, I'm ready to embrace you and welcome you and say, my son is alive again, my daughter is alive again. God wants nothing more than a relationship with you, but he will not compete with your sins. That's right. He's just waiting for you to turn and the moment you return, the reward is not wealth and riches, it's the very presence of God himself. So when you return, when you repent, you can hear his voice again. The voice of your father speaking over your life.”

#LookToJesus
“That's why we turn away from sin and turn to God. Twice in Jonah's prayer, he says, I'm looking toward your holy temple. Verse four, he said, I will look again toward your temple. Verse seven, when my life was ebbing away, I remembered you Lord and my prayer rose to you to your holy temple. He's turning from his disobedience and he's turning toward God. And here's what I want you to know, if you want hope in the middle of your despair, stop looking in the mirror and start looking at Jesus. You can't save yourself, only the grace of God can redeem you.”
