When Galatians says “walk by the Spirit,” it uses a Greek verb meaning “be carried along.” Holiness isn’t a ladder we climb but a current we surrender to, letting Him propel us past sin’s gravitational pull. Every Walmart trip or work meeting becomes a divine appointment when we’ve digested enough Scripture to diagnose sin and prescribe redemption. [35:24]

God is lifted up as worthy, savior, way maker, peace, protector, healer, provider, and the battle itself. God plants gifts in the house, and the image of spiritual pregnancy says what God placed in the womb has attached and must come forth full term. The counterfeit, the naysayer, and the infiltrator are rebuked because what God gives to the body is for the house.

Isaiah 64:6-9 sets the burden: sin infects and makes even righteous deeds look like filthy rags when a person keeps living in impurity. Revival has arrived, but revival must first happen in the heart before it reflects outwardly. Second Chronicles 7:14 carries power only when the mouth speaking it is backed by a pure heart, because continuing in sin waters down the potency of the Scripture that commands action and accountability.

Sin caused separation from the beginning. Genesis shows Eve deceived, Adam disobedient, and Cain warned before murder ever came out of his hands. Sin was crouching at the door, eager to control him, but God told Cain he must subdue it and be its master. The heart is deceitful and desperately wicked, so the heart must be trained, guarded, filtered daily through Scripture, and armored with righteousness and faith.

Jesus stands as the only one who never sinned and as the advocate when a believer fails. First John does not give a pass to keep sinning, but gives assurance that forgiveness is available when failure is confessed. Isaiah’s filthy rags do not mean the body God made holy is trash. They mean continuous sin makes righteous deeds filthy before God.

Righteousness does not come by good works. Salvation through faith in Christ brings peace with God and opens the path of righteousness. The Holy Spirit must lead every step, because nobody can get clean enough first and then come to Jesus. Jesus helps the sinner out of sin.

The Word must be stored up and ready because the enemy still asks, “Did God really say?” Scripture becomes the tool that answers deception, governs the heart, and keeps the believer from being played by sin. Isaiah’s cry shows that God’s people are clay and God is the potter, but Isaiah 65 answers that God was ready to help while nobody was asking.

Repentance means turning from wickedness and seeking God for help to maintain holiness. Forgiveness must be received and also given, because offense held in the heart blocks the mercy being requested.
