49s
“But what about you? Do you want revival, or do you wanna continue on in reformation? Are you asking yourself, how this week can I experience true revival? Not reformation, not changing some of my ways, but to be changed. We can experience true revival if when we are confronted with God's word, we have a heart that's ready to say yes. Let me say that again. We can experience true revival. If when we, Westside Baptist Temple, are confronted with whatever God's word's gonna say this week, we have a heart that's ready to say yes.”
45s
“Josiah experienced true revival while the people merely reformed their ways because when confronted with the word of God, Josiah had a heart ready to hear while the people did not. Let me repeat that. Josiah experienced true revival. He got it. It happened in his heart. It happened in his life. The Bible records it. But the people, they just reformed their ways because when confronted with the word of God, Josiah had a heart that was ready to hear, but the people did not.”
29s
“Josiah wasn't trying to appease God through his actions. He was trying to please the God he already loved. He didn't do all that stuff after he heard the book of the law because, well, maybe if I do this, God will give me a little more favor. No, he said, God said it, so I'm gonna do it because I love God. Because I wanna follow God, because he's my God.”
