#ChooseTheCity
“Now, Seeking Friends, I must warn you, if you're someone who's exploring the Christian faith, this is not some weird made up Christian thing that we've come up with at heaven. It's ultimately this real nice fluffy clad place where we literally hang around and play harps. That's not what this passage talks about. you and I can make our homes here. We can have all our stuff and, hopefully, we'll secure it and build our nest egg and cruise along with life and try to live a really good life, but it won't be truly your home. You will always want more, and there is a thirst in you that says there must be more. So if you have not already heard, Revelation is a loving warning to you and to me that when the new city comes and the Christ's kingdom will come, the question is in which city will you be in? You're invited to come to the one where there is no tear, suffering, no sin, no death, no evil, or you will be outside the city in the lake of fire.”

#TurnToJesusToday
“But see, to to come into the true city of god, it's not based on what you do, what I do, but the one who has done what is required. And he invites you, friend, invites you today to turn to in faith and turn to Jesus, the lamb who is lord and king, and surrender your self will to his will in faith. When you do, your name will be written in the lamb's book of life because he came to rescue you and me, and he might be saying to you even today, this morning, come. Come and thirst no more because he will return. And when he returns, there will not be a second chance. Today, perhaps, is the day.”

#GodsPresenceIsHome
“I think it's easy for us to get so caught up, which I think is fine to look at the details and the reasons for it. There's a reason why God has those details. Don't mishear me. It'd be captured by the river of life, to be captured by the gold in the streets, but all of that will mean absolutely nothing if god did not exist there. See, even in this picture, you can't see God. They can only paint the real picture because the, prompts I put in was exactly based on this text, draw a picture for me. It's hard to draw the reality that God's presence is what makes that place home, the one who comes to dwell with us. Because if he did not come to dwell with us, the one who invites us to dwell with him, you and I will still be yearning for more. Since that moment when you and I see Jesus face his face, we're reminded today our home is where God dwells because he's with us and we're with him.”

#ComingSoonHope
“``So if you're a weary follower of Jesus, those tears that you cry perhaps each day are not wasted. He is coming soon. If you're a fumbling follower of Christ who just fumbles their way every day to follow Jesus, the lamb is one, the living water who invites you because he is coming soon. To those who feel as you look at life and compare yourselves to others and the culture that says to you, your best life now is a total lie. For the follower of Jesus, the best life is to come because Christ is coming soon.”
