Revelation 7 works like an interlude of hope between frightening judgments. God holds the winds. God seals His own. The judgment will come from every direction, but His people will not be lost. That future pushes an urgent call into the present. Jesus is coming back. Time is not guaranteed. Humanity was created by Him for Him, to honor, worship, and glorify. So the church’s two clear assignments stand tall: love God with everything and carry the gospel to everyone in reach. Jobs and houses matter, but none of them is God. Believers represent the King, so they should be the best workers and the kindest neighbors. The delay is mercy. Not yet, the angels say, because there are people who still must hear. Readiness means being personally right with Jesus and getting out of the seat to reach those God puts in reach, before the winds are released.
