#ThroughDeathToLife
“This is the paradox of the kingdom. The way to conquer death is not to avoid it, it's to go through it. There is no shortcut. There is no way to skip ahead. The death of winter is what makes way for the life of spring. And the good news, friends, is that Jesus took on all the death that fractured that garden once and for all so that in the end, death wouldn't get the last word for us. And then he held out his life for us instead, a life that we can count on during this life and after.”

#HeHasRisen
“The one who planted the garden, the one who spoke worlds into being is standing right in the middle of a garden again and he has risen. He has risen indeed. With him, life is pushing up through the soil. Grace is moving into the places we thought were finished. Sin and shame no longer have power over our identities anymore. Death and decay don't get the last word.”
