#FatherAtTheGate
“``But God's love is unconditional because what what he doesn't know is taking place because you see the son left with the idea, I'm not going back. But every day, you got a picture this. The father's at the gate looking over the hill, looking, wondering, is he gonna come home today? Is he gonna come back today? The day ends, and he he goes away. Next day comes, comes up to the gate, looking at the hill, wondering, is he gonna come back today? Folks, whenever we wander from God, he loves us so much. He's always always waiting for us to come back to him. He wants so much to be in a right relationship with us that he is always waiting and looking and wondering, is today gonna be the day my child comes back home?”

#MakeGodCenter
“Maybe God is not the center of your life, maybe he's just on the outside God wants to be in the middle and you just bring him in whenever you can't deal with it anymore. You've exhausted every way you know of how to do it, and you finally bring God in. However, it may be, this is a beautiful picture of God's unconditional love. God loves us in spite of ourselves. Well, we ought to say amen to that. Amen. Loves us no matter what. There isn't anything we can do that will make God love us more, and there isn't anything we can do to make God love us less. God's love is unconditional, it's whole. We don't get just a little bit of God's love, we get it all.”

#ReturnAndBeRestored
“And sometimes we make those bad decisions, but God is still always there waiting to see, is today gonna be the day my son or my daughter comes home? Because this is what it's like when you're in a right relationship with God. You're face to face, you're seeing God move and work in your life and in the lives of other people, but this is what it's like whenever we choose to look away from God. Our heart wanders. God hasn't changed his position. He is always there. We it's hard for us in our sin to see God move and work in our lives. But when we repent and we're sorry for our sin and we turn back to God, we are restored, and all of heaven rejoices.”

#RepentAndReturn
“All of heaven rejoices when a sinner has come home. We need to know that God never gives up on us, and we should never give up on God. Another truth, if you do wind up finding yourself not in a right relationship with God for whatever the reason is, you need to always remember, repent and return to God when you find yourself wandering away. God is always faithful to us, always ready to embrace us again, but we have to humble ourselves. We have to come back to him.”

#FatherRunsToYou
“So the day comes, the sun is going, and he winds up coming over the hill. Imagine the joy of the father. My son's come home. He's so excited. He runs to him. God's reckless love is just forget this stuff, man. I'm gonna run to him. He could have stood there at the gate and waited for his son to come all that way on his own, but he loved him so much. He didn't care what he did. He's coming back. So he runs to him. He picks him up in his arms and he kisses his neck and he celebrates and he has such joy.”

#HumbleReturn
“What is taking place here is his servant. This, I mean, not the servant, but the son is starting to have a repentive heart. He hasn't confessed anything to anybody, but his heart is already becoming repentant. He's sorry for what he's done. He's seen that he's wasted his life. He's seen that he's made bad decisions. And now he's thinking about going back home, and he said, you know what, if I go back home, I'll I'll just be one of my dad's servants because he doesn't have the inheritance anymore. He can't see himself being his father's son anymore. I'll just be a servant and and I'll I'll all of a sudden he think, you know, I can be content with that because that's way better than feeding the pigs.”

#RestoredAsSon
“And then it gets to the point where he says, let's celebrate. Let's have a party. Grab the fatted calf. Start cooking it. And he gave his son some things. He gave his son a robe, a ring, and some shoes. You know why he did that? Because he didn't have them. And when his son left, he had them. This son is coming back with nothing. No shoes. He doesn't have any jewelry. He probably sold it. He didn't have nothing to his name. And the father gives it back to him. Gives him the robe, gives him the ring, gives him the shoes. The son is coming back to be the servant, but the father looks at him and sees him as his son. He will always see him as his son. And so he's giving him back what he rightfully deserves to have because he's not a servant to his father. This is my son. He has come home.”

#CelebrateRestoration
“This really symbolizes a very beautiful truth that God's restoration of a relationship is complete the next point of the message, the celebration that is that follows is restoration. He is restored. The son confessed his sin. He was already forgiven by the father. And now, they wanna celebrate. in his father's eyes, he has restored him to his rightful place in the family as his son and not the servant. So he's got much to celebrate. He's just the fatted calf. They're singing. They're dancing. They're in the house. They're having a great time.”
