God is stirring something around the world. Worship is rising again in stadiums, malls, streets, nations, and even places that looked spiritually dry. The restoration of the Tabernacle of David is not just a nice worship idea. It is a blueprint for the New Covenant church, a worship reformation that prepares the bride for Jesus and opens the way for the end time harvest.
David’s first priority as king was not building his own house or strengthening his throne. David gathered the Levites, brought back the ark, and put God’s presence right in the middle of Jerusalem. Saul had left the ark sitting in a field because he was more impressed with his own throne than the throne of God. David carried the opposite spirit: “I will not allow sleep” until there is a dwelling place for the Mighty One of Jacob.
The ark in David’s tent revealed something wild. The veil was gone, the presence was visible, and worship surrounded the ark day and night. David saw that God is enthroned on the praises of His people. Praise, worship, prayer, and declaration establish God’s rule, reign, and authority in lives, churches, cities, and nations. A worshiper is not somebody who sings for one hour on Sunday. A worshiper is somebody who has become dangerous to the enemy through a daily life of loving God.
The Tabernacle of David also showed David what heaven looks like. Twenty-four elders, singers, musicians, incense, praise, and worship before the throne were brought into earthly order. David saw ahead to Christ, who tabernacled among humanity for thirty-three years and revealed the glory of God in His face. Jesus then went to the cross, and His broken body tore the veil open forever.
Christ has given free and fresh access into the presence of God. The church is now called to be a priesthood of believers, a worshiping bride, and a house of prayer for all nations. Intimacy must come first, because abiding produces fruit. The harvest does not replace worship, but flows from it. God is rebuilding David’s tabernacle through a people who love Jesus in the secret place, worship together with fire, and then walk into the city for the sake of the lost.

Key Takeaways
- 1. God’s presence must be the priority David refused to make his own comfort, house, or position the center. God’s presence had to come back into the middle of the nation. A life can become busy with good things while the ark is still sitting in a field somewhere. The deepest order of life begins when God’s presence becomes more precious than personal success. [66:42]
- 2. Worship establishes God’s throne Praise is not background music for Christian activity. Worship declares that Jesus rules here, in the heart, the home, the church, and the city. God is enthroned on the praises of His people, and that reality brings authority against darkness. A daily worshiping life becomes dangerous because it keeps putting God in His rightful place. [69:07]
- 3. Intimacy comes before spiritual fruitfulness Jesus calls His people to abide before they try to produce. Ministry that does not flow from love can become Martha syndrome, activity without the one thing. The secret place is not escape from mission but the place where mission receives its life. Fruit comes because a branch stays connected to the vine. [86:36]
- 4. Christ tore the veil forever Jesus’ body was broken so that the veil could be torn. Access to God is no longer reserved for one priest, one moment, or one holy room. Every believer who comes through Christ can live near the throne, in forgiveness, righteousness, peace, and joy. The church must celebrate what Christ has opened rather than live as though separation still remains.
