No matter how far we feel from God or how unworthy we may see ourselves, His kindness seeks us out to restore and bless us beyond what we deserve. Like Mephibosheth, who saw himself as a “dead dog,” we may feel broken or forgotten, but God’s heart is to lift us up, seat us at His table, and return what has been lost or stolen in our lives. His mercy is not limited by our past or our failures; He delights in showing grace for the sake of His promises and love. [13:00]
2 Samuel 9:1, 8 (ESV)
And David said, “Is there still anyone left of the house of Saul, that I may show him kindness for Jonathan’s sake?” ... And he paid homage and said, “What is your servant, that you should show regard for a dead dog such as I?”
Reflection: Is there an area of your life where you feel unworthy or forgotten? How can you open your heart today to receive God’s restoring kindness in that place?
God’s Word is filled with promises, but many are conditional, requiring our response of faith, obedience, and action. The blessings and breakthroughs we long for are often tied to our willingness to honor God, pursue holiness, and sow seeds of faithfulness. Just as the law of sowing and reaping applies, what we invest in our relationship with God—whether in prayer, forgiveness, generosity, or worship—will be returned to us, pressed down, shaken together, and running over. [19:42]
Luke 6:38 (ESV)
Give, and it will be given to you. Good measure, pressed down, shaken together, running over, will be put into your lap. For with the measure you use it will be measured back to you.
Reflection: What is one specific way you can “measure out” generosity, forgiveness, or faith today, trusting God to return it in His way?
When life feels overwhelming and your steps are slipping, don’t give up—hold on and come into God’s presence. There is a unique power and clarity that comes when we gather with God’s people, worship, and seek Him together. Even when confusion, discouragement, or spiritual fatigue threaten to overtake us, God meets us in His house, revives our spirit, and gives us the strength to keep going until we see restoration. [33:37]
Psalm 73:2, 17 (ESV)
But as for me, my feet had almost stumbled, my steps had nearly slipped. ... until I went into the sanctuary of God; then I discerned their end.
Reflection: When you feel like giving up, what would it look like for you to intentionally seek God’s presence—perhaps through worship, prayer, or gathering with others—this week?
Unlike anyone else, God swears by Himself—His promises are unbreakable because they rest on His own character and authority. When God declares restoration, blessing, or salvation, nothing can overturn His word. Even when we doubt or feel weak, we can trust that God is able and willing to fulfill what He has spoken, not because of our strength, but because of who He is. [48:55]
Hebrews 6:13 (ESV)
For when God made a promise to Abraham, since he had no one greater by whom to swear, he swore by himself.
Reflection: What is one promise of God you need to cling to today, trusting not in your own ability but in God’s unchanging faithfulness?
God’s will is for you to recover what the enemy has stolen—whether it’s your joy, peace, purpose, or spiritual fire. Like David at Ziklag, you are not meant to settle for loss or defeat; God calls you to rise up, fight in faith, and claim full restoration. This is not just for individuals but for the whole church—God desires to pour out revival, healing, and blessing as we press in and refuse to let go until we see His promises fulfilled. [55:46]
1 Samuel 30:18 (ESV)
David recovered all that the Amalekites had taken, and David rescued his two wives.
Reflection: What is one thing the enemy has tried to steal from you or your family? How can you actively pray and fight in faith to recover it, starting today?
Worthy is the Lamb of God, who sits high above all, yet looks down in mercy and love upon us. There is no greater privilege than to gather in the house of the living God and worship Him, knowing that His love for us is beyond comprehension. Even when life feels overwhelming or when we feel unworthy, God’s love remains steadfast—He never gives up on us, no matter our failures or how far we feel from Him. The very fact that we are here today is evidence of His relentless love and His desire to restore what has been lost or broken in our lives.
God’s promises are often conditional—He calls us to respond in faith, obedience, and surrender. Just as the law of sowing and reaping is woven throughout Scripture, what we pour out to God—whether it’s forgiveness, worship, or faith—He multiplies and returns to us, pressed down and running over. Desperation for God is not a weakness but a posture that invites His miraculous intervention. When we give Him all we have, even if it seems small, He is able to do exceedingly and abundantly above all we ask or think.
The story of Mephibosheth in 2 Samuel 9 reminds us that God’s kindness seeks out those who feel forgotten, broken, or unworthy. Like Mephibosheth, we may see ourselves as “dead dogs,” but God’s intention is never for us to remain in that place. He calls us to rise, to receive His grace, and to reclaim what the enemy has stolen—whether it’s joy, peace, purpose, or spiritual authority. The enemy is the accuser, always trying to convince us that restoration is impossible, but God’s word declares otherwise.
There are moments when God, finding no one else to act, moves by His own sovereign power. He swears by Himself, and His promises are unbreakable. If God has spoken restoration, it will come to pass. Today is a day to fight for what has been lost, to believe for personal and corporate revival, and to trust that God is able to give it all back. The call is to come forward, to pray, to repent, to seek the infilling of the Holy Ghost, and to lay claim to every blessing and promise God has for His people.
But today I guess I'm just a little bit overwhelmed that God loves me. I'm overwhelmed by it. You guys don't know what that's probably, right? Like you probably walk on the clouds and people probably ask you things and you probably just know all the answers, right? But I don't know. Sometimes it boggles my mind that he loves me the way he does. Has anyone ever felt that way? [00:04:09]
But can I tell you today, amen, that the Lord has, he has your steps already ordered. He loves you more than you love yourself. I promise you that. You might think that your life is in an upheaval today, but can I tell you the very fact that you're in this room today tells me that he loves you more than you can even fathom. He'll never give up on you. He's never going to throw you out with the trash. He's not going to say, oh, that's it. You're done. Thank God we have a God that loves us like that. [00:05:24]
I know some people throw you away if you let them down, but I serve a God today that no matter what you've done, hallelujah, there is healing in the blood of the lamb. There is joy in the Holy Ghost. There is power in the blood of Jesus Christ. [00:06:00]
We serve a God that the blood of Jesus can cover you today. If you've never been baptized in Jesus name we want you to know that we've got a baptismal tank ready today Hallelujah, you can be baptized in Jesus name Let this be the day that you go down in the mighty name of Jesus Christ If you're here today and you've never experienced the baptism of the Holy Ghost don't leave here today. [00:06:27]
If you're here today and there's something that you lack in the presence of god you lack in the spirit of god I want you to know it's god's will today for you to leave here with a different mindset and to leave here with a different Come on a blessing on your life that you're gonna say i'm about to get some things back That the devil has done tried to steal from me. [00:10:23]
I'm about to get some things back that i feel were taken from me and the enemy wants me to believe that I'll never be happy I'll never have joy I'll never be blessed I don't care what it is that he tried to take from you I don't care if you messed it up yourself I've come to talk to some people you messed up your own life but God said hallelujah I'm about to bless you anyway I'm about to get you out of a mess that you created and help you get your mind right get your spirit right and get your life right amen. [00:11:01]
There is a law of reaping and sowing, and it is not just financial. But when we begin to give the Lord the things that he wants, hallelujah, he'll bless us. As a matter of fact, Matthew 7 and 2 says, hallelujah, Matthew 7 and 2. There's a good sword drill for you then. Hallelujah, Matthew 7 and 2. Amen. Trial by fire. Amen. There it is. Whatever you're going to measure, measure it out. [00:20:36]
And God says, that person is desperate. They're giving me everything they have. When the woman come on with the issue of blood said, if I could just touch the hem of his garment, she said, I don't have anything. But the one thing I've got is I'm going to touch the Lord, and he's going to bless me back. And I don't know who you are today. You might not feel like you've got anything. But if you will give God what you've got. [00:21:42]
If you'll forgive that person press it down shake it together god will run it over you'll have a better attitude starting next week man that's the promises that god makes enough you read that you don't understand that you don't get anything out of that and you say yeah that's for people with a da da da or waiting on a financial forget that hallelujah that's for anybody who needs anything and says i'll just whatever i've got i'll pour it out before the lord that's called being desperate anybody desperate today anybody desperate in the house. [00:22:23]
I believe that when you really walk with god the people around you will be blessed come on they will be affected by what you have and i don't mean to sound weird here and i don't think that sister cindy and i are perfect people by any means but i am going to tell you son some of the blessings that you walk in is because mom and i have decided to follow god with all of our heart and our soul now i know you love god too i'm not saying you don't but what i'm trying to say is some of the blessings you have as you walk out there and get in that vehicle i'm gonna tell you right now that that is that might be your car but it's really in my name that means it's my car are you picking up what i'm laying down and so that's how things in the kingdom of god are if you can just get next to somebody. [00:24:09]
The only thing that separates you hallelujah is the anointing of the Holy Ghost and that is what isn't upon your life and it's what separates you from everybody else you work with is that all right. [00:26:33]
Faith will always always always always always always always always always cause a response there is never a time in God's word that anyone ever had faith and they did nothing and saw something happen you've got to have faith to believe God to do it God do nothing or God can do something with nothing but he's still going to have to require somebody in the room to have just a little bit of faith who's got a little bit of faith today. [00:27:55]
Somebody you want to get something back from God you need to hold on just a little bit longer I don't know I'm preaching to you but God's about to bless you God's about to help you but you've got to hold on just a little bit longer look at your neighbor and say hold on that God's unchanging hand just a little bit longer. [00:30:44]
But something happens when I come to the house of god something happens when I get around god's people something happens when the worship begins to play something happens when the preacher begins to preach something happens hallelujah when the anointing begins to flow somebody if you believe that today would you give the lord a hand clap of praise something happens wherever there are two or three gathered in his name he's in the midst of them there's another verse of the bible for you but when you come to the house of god you can get the holy ghost when you come to the house of god you can get baptized when you come to the house of god you can receive your miracle when you come to the house of god you can get your joy back. [00:32:44]
You may be depressed you may be confused you may be in sin but before you leave this place you can get that thing right with God and you can say I left some stuff I shouldn't have left but I'm getting it all back today. [00:35:35]
The Bible says that the devil is the accuser of the brethren and if he can get you to believe William that you can't get something back you will live your life not according to God's blessing because you will receive that into your spirit I need some fighters in the house I'm getting ready to preach now and y 'all look like you're about to fall asleep some of you but I'm gonna tell you something today I'm looking for somebody who's ready to fight for their kids someone who's ready to fight for their church somebody wants to fight for their marriage. [00:36:46]
But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us. Somebody say, but God. It's a great message. My old pastor, it's one of my favorite messages I've ever been preached, but God. Remember that one? But God. That's right. That's right. But God. But God. Would have been a certain way, but God. [00:41:50]
That's why the Bible says in Colossians 2 and 9, that the fullness of the God. God dwells in Christ. That doesn't mean part of God dwells in Christ. That means the whole enchilada, the whole pie lives in Jesus. Come on, somebody. I can't cut that pie in half, brother. Chase, I can't do it. I can't. And say, okay, this pie over here, this pie. No, no, sir. Hallelujah. I'm telling you, when you looked at Jesus, you might not have known it, but you were looking at God manifest in the flesh. The fullness of the Godhead. That's why we baptize in Jesus' name. That's why we pray in Jesus' name. That's why we believe in Jesus' name. Because there is no other name given under heaven by which man must be saved. Hallelujah. I'm telling you, that word, that name still works. It's still good. It can still set the captive free. It's still the way to baptize. It's still the name that sets people free. It's still the power of God manifest in his church. [00:42:39]
When I tell you, Jesus doesn't need anything else to make you whole except be who he is. All you need is faith today to believe that whatever it is, I was getting ready, son. And the devil told me. He put you in my heart today. I'm going to preach to you. I'm sorry you're my kid. But this message is partly for you, and I don't know why, but I know it is. Jesus, whatever he told you in the last few weeks, the devil is a liar. And I'm going to tell you something, son. God has separated you, and you are baptized in that name, and you are filled with that spirit. And there is not a devil in hell who can tell you anything else. And don't you let him tell you anything else. I don't care how cool you are. I don't care what friends that you're hanging around. I'm telling you something. You're sealed. Hallelujah. Under the day of redemption, God has put his seal on you. [00:48:59]
And the God that we serve can't even swear by anything greater than himself. And the God, that God, that's what he was telling me today. I said, well, I don't understand half the verses that I'm feeling today, God. I could just preach Ziklag, and we could get out of here. And God was trying to tell me something. He was saying, you've got to build my case a little bit. Because sometimes people forget how awesome I am. Jesus. But I just felt God say, if my people know how awesome I am, and they'll just take a moment to remember how bad, you know, like cool, you know, how bad I really am, how strong I am, how tough I am, how I can answer prayers, and my people just know, hallelujah, that when I can...not find anybody to talk to I don't even need anybody to talk to I don't need anybody to ask I just do what I want to do. [00:51:17]
And David recovered all that the Amalekites had carried away and David rescued is to why I want you to focus on the part that says and David recovered all I want you to say that and David recovered all you ready I have come to preach to you and believe in my spirit that God spoke to me and said that's going to happen for many people personally you're going to recover something that the enemy stole from you today but the church itself is going to recover something that it's lost years ago I can't even put a word on it I'm sorry I can't put some on it but I'm being nice and I'm gonna tell you something I believe today is that day that it begins is that okay how many people want to see this church have revival greater than it's already seen. [00:56:41]
Why are you so satisfied with having less than all David didn't get part of what God's blessing was he got it all back you right down to the very last animal. David got it all. And someone, not someone, many somebodies that are here, you're going to recover something today that you've lost. [00:58:34]
You're not a dead dog. Matter of fact, you're so much not a dead dog that God's going to give you something back. [00:59:46]
