#SavedAndStruggling
“``Saved people still struggle. The presence of sin is still with us and because we still need regular daily cleansing and repentance. We still need to humble ourselves before a holy God. And it does not mean that we need another sacrifice because Jesus's atonement is a once for all sacrifice, but it does mean that we must keep coming to God with honest confession, coming to him in humility and repentance, coming to him to express our dependence on Christ. So don't hide your sin. Don't excuse your sin. Don't rename your sin. Don't don't make peace with your sin. Bring it before God. Because the same God that saved you by grace calls you to walk in repentance by grace. An ongoing repentance is not a denial of salvation. If anything, ongoing repentance is a sign that God is still working in you.”

#CreateMarginToBless
“And when you create margin, here's what you are saying. Lord, you have given me all of this, and I'm not using it on myself. I'm not only using it for my purposes. Use my resources. my house. Use whatever you've given me so that I can bless others. Remember this, loved ones. When God blesses you, it's not so that you could raise the standard of your living. He's blessed you. He's blessed you so that you can raise the standard of your generosity.”

#RememberTheWilderness
“And the festival, the feast of boots was God's way of saying, remember who carried you. You may have a house now but you were once in the wilderness. You have a harvest now but you once depended on manna. You have cisterns and wells now but you once depended on water coming out of a rock. You may have it now but remember when you did not and remember who brought you through it. So don't worship the blessing. Don't allow convenience to stifle faith.”

#PlaceYourHopeInChrist
“So if you're here and you haven't placed your faith in Christ, I want to encourage you there's nothing left for you. There's nothing that you can do to pay for your sins. There's nothing that you can do to prove your righteousness before God. The only thing you are called to do is to put your faith in what he has done. He has become your substitute. You have to put your faith in him. And the way to rest from guilt and shame and sin and trying to be your own savior is to place your hope fully in Jesus Christ.”
