Oftentimes we get distracted from who the real enemy is and I want to show you that and how not to be able to be distracted from who the real enemy is and then secondly I want you to be distracted from Christ being distracted from your primary area of pursuit and worship is what satan wants and even too if he can convince you to be distracted from christ and eventually worshiping him as his end goal away from christ and then thirdly dwelling on the devil he wants you to think about him and not christ and so um the less the rest of the headings we'll save for next week but today uh to start off i do not want you to be distracted from the real enemy. [00:03:25] (43 seconds)  #FocusOnTheRealEnemy

The enemy is the enemy. These men, these people, they are not the enemy. They are the mission field to be evangelized. People are not the enemy. People are not the problem. The problem is evil. Remember, Satan's two-step strategy is evil through people to you. [00:08:00] (23 seconds)  #EvilNotPeople

So there's no room for scalding unsaved people we should be gentle like Jesus was with people who did Jesus scald who did he pounce on who did he yeah Matthew chapter 23 boy he assigns the strongest language and the most graphic metaphors to false prophets to the religious ones who are robbing people in the name of Jesus and and so expose them pray for them but reach of the people all right spiritual war fighting then is resisting it's opposing it's not against people it's against the devil keep that in mind the enemy is the enemy. [00:12:17] (50 seconds)  #GentleLikeJesus

Lost people have a free pass. They can be impatient with you. They can spit at you. They can terrorize you online. They can follow you. They can badger you. They can yell at you. And how do you return? What do you do? Well, Matthew chapter 5 and verse 39 says this, but I say to you, do not resist an evil person. Yikes. So in the first sermon that Jesus gives, he says one of the hardest truisms. Be gentle with people. Love your enemies. [00:17:23] (44 seconds)  #LoveYourEnemiesAlways

Whatever you have to pay is nothing compared to what Christ has paid for your salvation. Whatever distance they want you to go with them. I'm talking about an evil person. A deatrophies. These types of things. This is a tough concept, folks. Listen to me. This is where spiritual warfare, this is where the rubber meets the road for us, and we are inwardly fighting on these things. [00:18:18] (23 seconds)  #CostOfFollowingChrist

You are an ambassador of the Lord Jesus Christ. You are not your own. You didn't save yourself, and you need to remember that you have a Father in heaven whom you represent. And so the enemy is the enemy. Do not treat people as if they are the enemy. We evangelize the opposition. We love them. [00:19:11] (25 seconds)  #AmbassadorsForChrist

Resisting is focusing on Christ if you're going to resist and stand in the position of who you are in Christ And you're going to focus on Christ, but Satan wants your focus off of Christ And so how do you stand? How do you resist you focus on Christ you be amazed at Christ even in the midst of the storm you focus on Christ. [00:19:54] (20 seconds)  #StandFirmInChrist

So be amazed at Christ and don't be distracted by the devil The devil wants to distract you from Christ, but we could be amazed in all of the richness of Christ and and I spared you from going through the whole epistle of Ephesians and pointing to Christ I Spared you all the Gospels All the prophecies All of the Torah and all of creation. [00:24:35] (28 seconds)  #AmazedByChristAlone

Don't fall for his schemes. Don't give in. In fact, those of you who have the ear of someone who is not saved, be speaking truth. You can save lives. The truth will actually set people free which is to have life and so we need to resist and stand and be working and evangelizing and working towards these things. [00:37:27] (30 seconds)  #SpeakTruthSaveLives
