#RunToChrist
“``So today, if you feel the weight of conviction, don't run from it, but run to Christ. He bought a wrath that we so deserved. He he the one that took on what we deserve. He is the refuge from judgment. He is the shelter from judgment. The answer to Nahum's warning, he is the fulfillment of Paul's prayer that his prayer for Israel is that they might be saved. God wants us all saved. He wished that none would perish, but that all would come to everlasting life. And that's my desire for all of you today, myself included.”

#MaintainRepentance
“But repentance must be maintained. Nine of us squander is second chance. The repentance of one generation became the rebellion of the next. They turned to violence, arrogance, and hatred towards god's people. And so Nahum was sent, not with a call to return to god, but with a declaration of judgment. Today, the world is in a similar state. The world mocks righteousness, nations rage, hatred festers, and yet god's love remains unbroken. The thunder of judgment has not yet rolled. Why? Because god's patience is prolonged. God is long suffering with us. hear this, delay is not denial. The silence of heaven is not the absence of justice. It's the presence of mercy.”

#RepentNotRituals
“Oh, but here's the truth. I gotta get out of here. Come on, sir. But here's the truth. Repentance reroutes god's wrath. The only way to escape from precise punishment is personal repentance, not a ritual, not a reputation, not religion, not your political party, not your sorority, not your frat. But let me tell you, it's just repentance. let's not play with god's mercy. Don't gamble with his grace, sir. The same god who is slow to anger is also swift to act when witnesses wickedness persist. And you can be sure when punishment comes, it is precise.”

#DontReturnToSin
“Nineveh is mentioned in scripture as a place that turned away from sin with a warning from god through the prophet Jonah. But was later destroyed because they turned back to sin. Oh, be careful when god brings you out of something that you don't turn back to the thing he bought you out of. Scripture says it's like a dog turning and eating his own vomit. God's judgment is always just, but salvation is always the goal. So let's take a closer look at god's patience, power, and punishment. Wanna preach to you today from this subject, repentance, shelter from god's righteous wrath.”

#MercyIsNotImmunity
“Nineveh had his chance. Yeah. It heard the word. It felt the way. And for a moment, it turned to god. But when repentance faded, rebellion returned, and judgment followed. We can learn from Nineveh. We must not mistake delay for dismissal. We must not assume that mercy means immunity. The lord is slow to anger. Yes. But he is great in power, and he will punish the wicked.”

#MercyOverVengeance
“Today's sermon is not a political sermon on the war between Israel and Hamas or an attempt to justify the obliteration of the Gaza Strip. Quite the contrary. Like the apostle Paul, my heart's desire and prayer for Israel is that they might be saved as well as the people of Gaza. This is neither a sermon on vengeance nor retaliation. Even in the shadow of wrath, God's heart still beats with mercy. Even when judgment is deserved, God's heart always yawns for salvation. Nahum shows us the storm, and the apostle Paul shows us the intercession. Together, they reveal the echo of God's own heart. Though Nineveh hated God's people, and though Israel often strayed, the law still desire repentance over ruin.”

#JusticeForTheOppressed
“For a moment, I want you to imagine a nation that mocks the church, silences the gospel, and thrives on cruelty. That was Nineveh, once humbled by Jonah's preaching, but soon hardened again by pride and violence. Though they repented for a moment, they relapsed into sin. So god sent Nahum, not with a warning, but with a verdict. Amen. And the spirit of Nineveh is still alive today. Uh-huh. Hatred towards god's people festers across generations and borders. Consider Israel, god's chosen nation, surrounded by hostility, marked by many, and targeted with cruelty. The oppression is visible. The injustice is real, but the lord is not blind. He is slow to anger, yes, but great in power. The lord will not leave the guilty unpunished.”

#SamePowerSaves
“God hasn't lost any power. He has just given us time to repent. Here's Nahum's warning. If we resist god's rule, we will face his fire. But if we repent, we will find his refuge because the same power that punishes is the same power that protects. It's the same power that saves. It's the same power that delivers. It's the same power that will heal you from your sickness. It is the same power that when you pray, that will answer your prayer. Is anybody ever had a prayer answered in here? Amen. That same power. Is the same power that will destroy your enemies. Put your backstabbers underneath your feet. The same power will let you dance on the devil's head. The same power will have you shout hallelujah anyhow.”

#GodDoesntMiss
“Don't tell me god isn't god. And here's what Nahum said. Is it isn't poetic flare, but it's prophetic fire. When god moves in judgment, he moves with purpose. He doesn't miss. He doesn't misjudge. He doesn't make a mistake. See, sometimes, I have been out to the range, and I'm trying to get my aim right with the nine millimeter. But sometimes I miss the mark. But let me tell you about god. Talk about it, pastor. My god. He doesn't use nine millimeters. He doesn't need an arrow. He doesn't even need a grenade launcher. My god speaks. And when he speaks, arrows fly. Things start to happen, and god doesn't miss.”

#SavedMeansChange
“Understand. Don't take god's mercy for do what I wanna do. Your liberty in god is not liberty to keep on sinning. Shall we be saved and keep on sinning? God forbid. You've been saved from what? Uh-huh. What have you been saved from? Y'all have been saved from something. Save but still lying. Save but still fornicating. Save but still home on you. Save but still living in sin every day of your life. But you say you're saved. I wanna know what are you saved from.”

#ForgivenAndRestored
“You're supposed to be saved. Somebody saved from sin. And, yes, Jesus came to save his people from sin. But you do know that sin is just a symptom of unbelief. Yeah. Yeah. He came to save them from unbelief. Unbelief for what? Believing in him. That's right. Because unbelief is gonna send folks to hell. Uh-huh. Never accepting Jesus. Hallelujah. Jesus. Never allowing him into their heart. But let me tell you that his hope church, he will forgive the repentance. He will restore the broken. He will redeem the lost. He'll take back the backslider. He said he loved the backslider because he said he married to him. And I tell you, don't marry somebody that you don't love. You're gonna have a hard way to go and a hard bid to lay on. Only marry if you love them.”

#GodProvides
“There's gonna be a cutoff. There's gonna be a layoff, and and and you don't seem to be worried. You you don't seem to be upset. Everybody else is worried. You right here talking about praise the lord. For his grace and mercy. You right here talking about how good god is. Aren't you worried? And you'll be able to tell him, no, I'm not worried. Because my god. My god. He controls the job. He controls the money. The earth is the lord's and the fullness thereof. Somewhere I read that he owned a cow on a thousand hills. And I like to say, this ain't scripture, not in these words, but I do believe that he owned the hill that the cattle is on. That's right. All of it. I do believe the grass, the cattle eating. Yeah. Belongs to god.”

#FinalJudgmentAwaits
“Oh, but I got news for those of you that get left behind. It's not gonna be a good time. It's not gonna be party all the time. There gonna be some rough days ahead. And one day, you gonna have to stand before the judgment seat of god. Yeah. It is called a white throne judgment, and that is for all unbelievers because the saints of god. Uh-huh. Where at that time will already be judged. We're stand at the judgment seat of Christ, not to be judged to get in the glory, but judged based off what did we do after we got saved. Oh, you made it to heaven, but there are some wars awaiting there.”
65s
#JudgedForOurWorks
“And you made it to heaven. Thank god. Lord, I made it to heaven. But there's more to come when you get to heaven. Amen. You're be judged for what did you do? After you got saved. Uh-huh. Were you a witness for the lord? Yeah. Did you ever help anybody? Were you just a selfish Christian? Yeah. A mean spirited Christian. And some of your rewards will start being burned in the fire. Whoo. Just being tossed off. those who who would get those rewards. God's got special work for you to do even in glory. Oh, I know. I know. We talk about we're just walk around heaven on the golden streets. Yeah. You will have a long white road. That's true. John Song, that's true. But god got some things for us to do in heaven. Somebody gotta keep on praising him. Somebody gonna be in the heavenly choir.”

#AfterDeathComesJudgment
“But for those that miss out, there won't be no getting it right in purgatory. There'll be no let me talk to Saint Peter. And Peter's gonna give me another chance that there'll be no let let me come back in reincarnation. I'm gonna come back as a dog. I'm gonna be a good dog. I don't understand it. If you're reincarnated, why would you come back as a dog? A dog. Well, thank you. Why? That don't even make good sense. You don't even have to be a bible scholar. But it is no reincarnation. That's true. That's good. The bible says, after the death comes to judgement.”
