#RepentNow
“``We sometimes mistake his patience or his kindness towards us for his approval of our choices. Just because God hasn't cut you down doesn't mean he won't. It doesn't mean he doesn't want you to change. It doesn't mean he want doesn't want you to repent. And this applies to the church as well. The fig tree was in the midst of the vineyard. It was among God's covenant people. There are some of you that are waiting to repent, that are waiting to follow God's call in your life, and you're just gonna continue to be frustrated until you say yes. So I'm I'm begging you this morning, do not delay your repentance. Do not wait.”

#DecideWhoYouServe
“Make up your mind who you're gonna serve. So the big idea of this parable is God is giving you time to repent and bear fruit. He is being patient with you. But I need you to know that his patience will not last forever. We sometimes mistake his patience or his kindness towards us for his approval of our choices. #ChristIntercedes
“Christ stands in the gap between you and God. He's what you deserve is judgment. What you deserve is death. What you deserve is punishment. And he says, not yet, God. He is so patient with us. But I want you to know his patience will run out someday. And, yeah, for the lost person, but for the Christian in here that keeps stiff arming God and saying, don't I'm not ready. I'm not smart enough. It's not time. So the vine dresser, the gardener says, I'm gonna throw some manure at it. I'm gonna do all the work I can to prepare this tree to bear fruit, to prepare you to repent of your sins. And that's where this parable ends. It's a cliffhanger, open ended for a reason. And the reason it's open ended is because the Jewish person listen to this, they still had time to repent.”

#JesusMakesAWay
“That's why it's the Christ like figure. Like, I should have been cut down a long time ago, but God was merciful to me and patient with me. And so Jesus pleads and stands in the gap and says, give them more time. They're they're gonna come around. I will do everything I can to make them come around. He says, I'm gonna throw some manure on. I'm gonna dig a hole. I'm gonna do everything I can so that they will eventually start bearing fruit. Christ stands in the gap between you and God. He's what you deserve is judgment. What you deserve is death. What you deserve is punishment. And he says, not yet, God.”
