#CastDownStrongholds
“``And the Bible talks about mindsets. It just doesn't use the word. It talks about strongholds. And a stronghold is a negative mindset. A stronghold is a mindset that you've got that you've had for so long that it is literally a stronghold in your life. You see yourself this way. You think this way negatively about something, relationships, finances, whatever the case may be, And it is a stronghold that the enemy is using to keep you from living the life that God wants you to live. Amen? And the apostle Paul talks about casting down imaginations and every high thing that really the imaginations and the high things, the pretend pretensions are the things that make up the the stronghold. The thoughts, the reasoning, are what make up that stronghold in your life. And so he says you have to cast it down. Well, you can't cast it down if you don't know it's wrong, and you can't cast it down unless you've got something to replace it with. And what you replace it with is God's word. Amen?”

#RenewYourMind
“And, you know, there's so many times whenever I would be reading the word, and I would think, well, that's not where I'm at. That's not you know, it doesn't match up with my life. And but so here's the way things are in my life, and so we wanna we wanna talk about the way things are. Well, the Bible says that God is a God who calls those things which are not as though they were. And so that's what you actually end up doing when you start renewing your mind with God's word because you'll stop saying, you know, things like, I'm just an old sinner saved by grace, and you'll start saying, I'm a new creation created in Christ Jesus, born anew, and I am the righteousness of God in Christ. Those are very, oh, how many know those are two very, very different statements. Amen? And you'll stop saying I can't and do do this, and I can't do that, and then you'll start saying I can do all things through Christ Jesus who strengthens me. How many of you can see just how it's changing your thoughts for god's thoughts just absolutely changes the way you think, changes your whole perspective on life, changes the way you approach life, and therefore, changes your life.”

#ChooseGodsWord
“My this is this is not at all how I thought this message would go, but it's pretty good. There is a scripture where Jesus told the Pharisees, your traditions have made the word of god of no effect. And I thought, god, why are you giving me that verse? It just doesn't seem like it fits in his message. And then I realized, it absolutely does. Their traditions were their mindset. It was the things they thought their their beliefs, the way they thought things had to be done, and he when he said it to him, he was telling him, some of you, you honor, you know, tithing to the smallest mitt, but then you don't even honor your father and your mother. Are you hearing me? And he says, some of your traditions, your traditions make the word of god of no effect. Can I tell you god's word is powerful, sharper than any two edged sword, the Bible says? Amen? But the Bible, the word of god has no power in your life if you think your thoughts are right and god's thoughts aren't. Or you think you have a reason for why your life is the way it is and whatever has happened to you is greater than what god did for you in Christ on Calvary's Cross. traditions, your beliefs, your mindset make the word of god of no effect because you're choosing to believe your thoughts, what you believe over what god says in his word. Amen?”

#MarchAndShout
“Goes back and tells his people, here's what we do. One time a day or one time a day for six days, we're all gonna walk around the city. On the seventh day, we're gonna march around seven times. And none of you can talk during any of these times we're making this march around the city. Got it? The the guy's been smoking something. Come on. But now listen. On that seventh time around, when we get there, I'm gonna tell y'all shout, shout. When I tell you, shout, shout because the walls are coming down. Do you know why he wouldn't let them talk? Listen. If I'm marching with you guys all around the city, one time a day for six days, seven time on seventh day, I'm gonna tell you, y'all keep your mouth shut because here's what you're gonna be doing. Why are we doing this? This has got to this has got to be the dumbest thing. We're going back to the first church. They didn't march around nothing. I told you we should've never came to this place. They're they're yeah. They're fear filled. They do crazy stuff, march around the city. That's why he didn't let them talk. I have a question for you. On the seventh day, seventh time around, when they shouted, what happened? What happened? Amazing. Who'd have thought? Amen? Amen. Who'd have thunk it? You would've if you'd believe God's word.”

#RetrainYourThoughts
“What happened? That experience was so filled with fear that it dug deep the first time I had it by virtue of that. I know what the word says. He will keep in perfect peace him whose mind has stayed on thee because he trusts in you. Man, I'm quoting that, but I am struggling to get my thoughts aligned with that. And come on. Are you are you hearing me? Obviously, I am now, but I I was struggling for a while. I mean, you're you're glad I can relate if you're if you're there. Amen? Amen. What'd you do, pastor? I kept renewing. I just kept reminding myself. Just got back into the word in those areas. Just, you know, keep saying those things instead of saying what I felt, saying what I feared. I stopped saying what I feared, and I start saying what I have faith for. What am I doing? I'm retraining. Everybody say retraining.”

#AcknowledgeToBreakChains
“Write these four things down real quick. I got five minutes, and I'll do it in three. Number one, if you're gonna change your mindset, you have to, first of all, recognize that you have wrong mindsets. You've gotta stop defending those mindsets too. Recognize them and stop defending them. You can't overcome anything you won't acknowledge. I told somebody one time because I I I recognize this because I used to have one. I said, you have an anger problem. They said, I don't have an anger problem. I thought, yeah. Yeah. You really do. And they got mad because I told them they had an anger problem. Come on. Have you ever done that? You know what I'm talking about? You're crazy. No. I'm not crazy. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. You're acting crazy, but recognize and acknowledge. Recognize and acknowledge. I wanna go free. I'm not gonna defend anything, any stupid belief I've got. I'm not defending anything. Why? Because I'm far more concerned about going free than I am defending my stupid belief that's holding me in bondage. Well, I hate to admit after all these years, I was I was wrong. Don't bother me.”

#WatchYourWords
“There is no story that illustrates this more clearly than the story of the Israelites exes exodus in Egypt and pharaoh's bondage. And they are on their way to the promised land, a land that god wants them to possess, a land where they are going to occupy territory. They're going to build homes. You know, they're they're going to raise crops. They're gonna raise their children. They're gonna leave them an inheritance from generation to generation. I mean, they're going from slaves to you know, for four hundred years to the life that god wants them to live, and it's it's all awaiting them in the promised land. It's kinda like us once god sets us free, but there's some wilderness stuff that we've gotta overcome. Come on. Are y'all hearing me? And some some stuff in the promised land. Yeah. Actually, in the promised land that we've gotta overcome if we're gonna realize the blessing that God has for us. Amen?”

“The whole point is to get you to see. Most of us see ourselves way wrong. Most of us see ourselves like Gideon. I'm the least of the least. Come on. We may act like we're not when we get around people, but the way we see ourselves is as the least of the least. And can you imagine how seeing yourself like that limits God from using you? Do you realize that it was Gideon he came to and said that to and he's Gideon's he said, God, Gideon, I wanna use you. You're a mighty man of God. He said, no. You got the wrong door. You got the wrong house. We are the weakest clan at all of Manasseh, and I'm the weakest of my clan. I'm the least of the least. You can't be anymore insecure than that. Amen? And god said, no. You're a mighty man of valor. And he had to change the way Gideon saw himself by doing these things. He had to change the way Gideon saw himself in order to get him to let him use him, to defeat a great army.”
