“``The parable does not say that the seeds will grow better if we fuss and worry about it a lot. In fact, it the parable kinda suggests that the rain of God might come when we least expect it. In fact, the reign of God might come when we've given up on it ever coming, which means positively that there is no situation of church decline. You know? It means there is no national political crisis that makes us give up. All we gotta do is just keep scattering the seeds out there. Sooner or later, some of them grow. We don't know how. And every time they do, it's a miracle.”

“Are you ready for the blessing when it comes? You know? Are your eyes open so you see when it's right? Is your heart open so you're ready to receive the blessing? We cannot make it happen. All we can do is be ready to receive it when it comes. The reign of God is like humility. I mean, what do we know? And the reign of God is like gratitude. Thank you, God, for sending a harvest.”

“Jesus says that. Exactly is what the reign of God is like. We plant the seeds, and then it's out of our hands. We plant the seeds, and then it's out of our hands. The parable does not say that every seed we plant will grow. The parable does not say that the seeds will grow better if we fuss and worry about it a lot. In fact, it the parable kinda suggests that the rain of God might come when we least expect it. In fact, the reign of God might come when we've given up on it ever coming, which means positively that there is no situation of church decline. You know? “What do we know? You know, a lot of people think they think that the bible is an answer book. And I suppose it is if you happen to ask the right questions. You know? If you ask the question, should I love my neighbor? The Bible says Yes. Yes. If if I happen to ask, should I forgive somebody when they hurt my feelings? The answer is Yes. Yes. Now so the bible does have some answers. But I think on the whole, the bible is less about answering questions, and it's more about this posture of humility before God.”
