1) "Every person in this room, if you have social media, if not, that's great too, if you have a job, family, kids, girlfriend, like whatever, that is a platform, right? Just as this is a platform, that is a platform, and my question is, are you shining the light of Jesus on your platform in public as you do in private? Think about that, because right now, it's so easy for us to get up here and sing about God's goodness, and the light's shining, and it's illuminating us, and we're singing as worship leaders, but if we're not living that out in private, it's all a performance anyway." [45:57] ( | | )

2) "The person you are in private is your true self, and that's my, I learned that a long time ago, and maybe you can say that too, that, and here's the thing, that's a struggle for everyone, is to be congruent to your private life as you are in public, shining the light in all areas. Your social media, what are you sharing?" [47:14] ( | | )

3) "We have to think through the lens, how is God giving the glory through what I post, what I say, and what I do in all areas of my life. What are you reflecting, what are you shining? Can we do something fun really quick? As the worship pastor, one of my favorite things is I love to sing, so can we sing a little song that I grew up singing that goes like this, it goes, this little light of mine." [47:46] ( | | )

4) "We have to renew our mind by the reading of the word. And that takes discipline. And then worshiping completely abandoned. Our worship team did amazing singing some incredible songs about God's light and the crucifixion. Worshiping abandoned, well, I didn't grow up lifting my hands. That is a moment where you can break free and model what biblical worship, the lifting of the hands, that's Bible, clapping of the hands, we've clapped a lot today, that's Bible." [57:00] ( | | )

5) "We have to understand that Jesus has come and he says that I am the light, I am the source. Come to me all that are heavy burdened and I will give you rest. Run to me, come to me, take my light. My yoke is easy and my burden is light. Let me shine my light into that darkness exposing that thing and let's get rid of that nightlight." [01:09:17] ( | | )

6) "Set boundaries. Who knows that boundaries are healthy? You gotta have healthy boundaries. And some of the best way as a follower of Jesus is to have biblical boundaries. It's easy to look at those boundaries that the Bible calls us to do as restrictions. And then why is God trying to keep me from having fun? Why are they like, I can't do this, I can't do that. It's not that he doesn't want you to do that, it's to protect you from those things that are not good for you." [59:43] ( | | )

7) "Are we gonna straddle the fence of the way we live our life? Are we gonna sit on the fence and lean when it feels good? I'm, you know, and that person cuts me off, I'm gonna let them know, or, you know, when that coworker looks at me wrong, I'm gonna give him that look, and like, you know. I'm gonna lean in the darkness, or am I gonna lean to the light where I can make a choice to shine that light, to dispel the darkness?" [54:01] ( | | )

8) "Can I say that sometimes we just let Satan blow our light out too much? Now he doesn't fully blow it out, right, because he can't blow out the light of Christ, but the way we shine it he can. You let one time, you get on I-20 right here by Spirits Creek and Elgin at five o'clock, is there a witness in the house that understands what I'm talking about? At five o'clock, Spirits Creek, Elgin, your light begins to burn really dimly." [49:41] ( | | )

9) "Our light is not little, and if that's one thing that you can take away as believers, don't walk out of here with a little light. Our little church name is radiate. That's the whole point of what we're doing. We're radiating God's light to the world. Stop letting the enemy blow out your light. So shine your light, expose the darkness, and take a step." [52:01] ( | | )

10) "We have to make a decision. Are we gonna straddle the fence of the way we live our life? Are we gonna sit on the fence and lean when it feels good? I'm, you know, and that person cuts me off, I'm gonna let them know, or, you know, when that coworker looks at me wrong, I'm gonna give him that look, and like, you know. I'm gonna lean in the darkness, or am I gonna lean to the light where I can make a choice to shine that light, to dispel the darkness?" [54:01] ( | | )
