1. "And when we look around, and we look at all of our things, all of our earthly stuff around us, when all of those things get taken away from us, Jesus is the constant. He's the one that stays. And He's the one that we need. Then it says that when we seek His kingdom first, He will add all these other things onto us. But seek first Him and His kingdom, His rule and His reign for our lives." 2. "There is a world out there, that don't know what you and I know. And that it is our responsibility to show them and to tell them. You know, our children, when they go to school, they've got this thing what they call show and tell. So they take something to school. It could be a pet or it could be, you know, a toy or it could be anything. And they call it show and tell." [56:34] (25 seconds) (Download raw clip | Download cropped clip)

3. "In these turbulent times, it's a natural instinct to our sinful nature to want to protect ourselves, to fight back, and to harbor bitterness in our hearts. But it's the absolute opposite of the very thing that Jesus wants us to do. And Jesus says that when we pray for our enemies, when we bless them, and when we love them, then we will be sons or daughters of our Father, who are in heaven." 4. "Rejoice in hope. Be patient in tribulation. Be constant in prayer. What a challenge is that not? Rejoice in hope. Now, sometimes that's fairly easy. But to be patient in tribulation. To be patient. To be patient when things are going wrong, when things aren't going the way I want it to go. Man, that's hard. It's hard sometimes to have patience and wait for the Lord to answer when we pray through difficult times and it feels like it's not happening." 5. "Whenever anxiety arises in our heart, take it as an invitation to pray. I want to say that again. Whenever anxiety rises in our heart, when we feel a sense of hopelessness, when we feel a sense of loss of control, let that be an invitation to pray. Let that be an invitation for us to get onto our knees and pray and say, Father, will you help me in this place, because I need your peace, because it is not well with my soul, but I want to get to that place where I can say with confidence in my heart that it is well with my soul, regardless of what my circumstances look like." 6. "Christlikeness is not when everything is going right for us, church, but it's in the face of adversity and challenges. That is when true Christlikeness surfaces. That's when we show the world who this Christ is. We show the hope that we have in believing in Him and patience, working in our life a hope, knowing that He will work all things together for our good." 7. "Jesus said, in this world, we will have trouble. There will be turbulent times. But here's the thing, Jesus modeled for us, in His suffering, He will carry us through. That in suffering, we can turn to Him and He will show us. 1 Peter 2 verse 21 to 23 says this, For to this you have been called, because Christ also suffered for you, leaving you an example. Here's the thing, Christ has left us an example so that you might follow in His steps." [01:21:34] (34 seconds) (Download raw clip | Download cropped clip)

8. "I have very seldom heard people say that, man, I have grown so close to Jesus during this time where everything has just gone well. It doesn't mean we don't grow close to Jesus. Of course we do. But there's a celebration in those times where everything seems to be going well and everything is fantastic and I'm in a great relationship with Him and my relationships around me are well. My kids are going well and we've got health and things are just going well. Man, it's great." [01:25:51] (31 seconds) (Download raw clip | Download cropped clip)

9. "Father, help us this morning to take steps to help cultivate a deeper sense of peace in our hearts especially when situations become stressful and anxiety starts setting in and we feel like we're losing control out of what life is and things are spinning out of control. Father, help us to bring our anxieties to you and prayer and supplication with thanksgiving in our hearts. Thank you for working that peace in our heart that will guard our hearts and our minds that goes beyond our understanding beyond what people can understand so that we can show Christ's likeness in this difficult times." 10. "Father, I pray this morning that we will remember that there is a world out there that don't know what we know and don't know who we know. Father, will you help us to have patience treat them with kindness and with love as we share about you, as we show and tell. Show who you are and tell us who you are and tell them who this amazing God is that we serve. Father, help us to endure all that that comes our way in order to bring glory and honor to your name."
