#LovedAsYouAre
“``But here's the part that most people miss in the story of corduroy. never comes back for corduroy because he found the button. If you go back and think about it, corduroy never found what was missing. Corduroy never fixed himself. Corduroy never got everything together so that he would be wanted by someone else who would come along. She comes back because she always wanted him. That changes everything.”

#GraceComesFirst
“Hear me. Hear me. God didn't wait until you became lovable. He loved you before you were repaired. Come on. He didn't wait for you to go get your life together. He loved you before you even said yes to him. He didn't wait for you to go to go behave more and stop doing the things that you know you shouldn't do. He loved you before you were repaired. Before before you found your button, he loved you. Watch. Watch. Romans Romans five eight says that God shows us his love for us that while we were sinners, Christ died for us. John three sixteen says, for God so loved the world that whosoever should believe in him would not perish but have everlasting life. But I love John three seventeen just as much. It says this, for God did not send his son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him.”

#RedeemedAndRestored
“We think redemption is just another kinda way to say forgiveness, but it means so much more than that. Redemption is to purchase someone in order to rescue them. To purchase someone in order to restore them. To purchase someone in order to set them free. Think about what Lisa actually did. She paid a price. She claimed him. She gave him new identity. She repaired what couldn't be repaired by him. She took him home. That's redemptive language. That's gospel language. That's the gospel right there.”

#RedemptionIsHome
“Hear me. The beautiful part of the story isn't that Corduroy got fixed. Isn't that Corduroy finally got his button. The beautiful story is that Corduroy finally got a home. Jesus said in John 14, I go to prepare a place for you. Revelation 21, it it says that behold, the dwelling place of God is with man. want you to think about that. Redemption is not merely God fixing the broken things in your life. It's God bringing us home. What does redemption mean? It means God is bringing you home. It means that he's gonna take care of everything that's missing. He's gonna handle all the things that are that are broken, all the things that are wayward. He's gonna he's gonna take care of it all.”
