Just as a device malfunctions when unplugged from its power source, our lives become disordered when we sever our connection with the divine. This disconnection leads to a life that is out of sync with its intended purpose. By reconnecting with God, we allow His order and purpose to flow into our lives, restoring harmony and meaning. The Lord's Prayer is a call to invite heaven to invade earth. By aligning our lives with God's will, we allow divine order to manifest in our existence. When we pray "Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven," we are inviting God's perfect order and purpose to shape our lives.
