Christ is the inexhaustible source, and heaven’s provision comes down so that what is received from Him is kept and given to neighbors. The grace of God does not make a child of God like the Dead Sea, receiving and never giving out. The gospel has come as good news, salvation, love, joy, and power of new life, and that same good news must touch all nations, languages, tribes, cultures, and backgrounds without discrimination.
The love received from heaven is love, not hatred. Christ gives loving kindness through worship, Bible reading, and prayer, and the rest of the day becomes the time of giving out what has been received. Salvation gives forgiveness, and after salvation the grace of God gives power to live in holiness. God is holy, Jesus is holy, the Holy Spirit is holy, the angels are holy, and heaven is holy because the holy God lives there. Holiness is necessary because without holiness no one shall see the Lord.
Holiness begins with honesty and humility. The kingdom belongs to the poor in spirit, and the childlike heart receives what pride can never receive. Holiness also means a choice: “You choose to be holy. You choose to be humble.” God calls His people not to the former lusts and old lifestyle, but to be holy in all manner of conversation because He who called them is holy.
Love belongs inside holiness. God made Adam and Eve in His image, with His love in their hearts, but disobedience traded the love of God for another love. God therefore circumcises the heart, sanctifies the heart, and restores that original love, so that Christ’s command can be lived: love one another as Christ has loved.
Integrity also belongs inside holiness. The world has corruption in offices, systems, and even families, but holiness from heaven gives integrity in heart and life. Job kept integrity when friends accused him and when his wife told him to curse God and die. Only God gives that kind of straight heart that will not bend toward corruption.
Newness of heart, endurance, surrender, and submissiveness complete the holy life. God takes away the stony heart and gives a new heart. Endurance keeps going when the wind blows sand into the eyes on the journey. Surrender gives up sin first, then even good things that hinder the better calling of Christ. Submissiveness goes deeper than surrender, bringing self, tribe, passion, desire, and whole life under the rulership of the Lord.

Key Takeaways
- 1. Christ gives, so His people give Christ’s fountain is not small, dry, or reserved for a few. The life received from Him is meant to move outward, not sit like the Dead Sea, receiving and never giving out. Grace becomes visible when love, gospel, and salvation are kept to every neighbor without discrimination of language, tribe, culture, or religion. [03:48]
- 2. Holiness is heaven’s family likeness Holiness is not a decoration added to Christian life, but the nature of the God who saves. The Father is holy, Jesus is holy, the Spirit is holy, the angels are holy, and heaven is holy because God lives there. Salvation therefore does not only forgive sin, it prepares a person for the holy place by making the heart fit for God. [16:14]
- 3. Love must be restored within The love God requires is not ordinary affection, romance, or human attachment. Adam’s fall shows that a heart can exchange God’s love for another love, even a very close and natural one. God’s work in sanctification circumcises the heart and brings back the original love that can love God fully and love others as Christ has loved. [29:50]
- 4. Integrity refuses to bend crooked Integrity from heaven makes the heart straight in a crooked world. Corruption may be normal in offices, systems, and families, but holiness will not treat corruption as wisdom. Job’s life shows that true integrity can stand under accusation, pressure, and loss because God Himself keeps the heart upright. [35:15]
- 5. Surrender reaches beyond outward things Surrender begins with sin, but Christ also calls for good things that hinder a higher service. Submissiveness goes still deeper, bringing the inner self, passion, tribe, desire, and identity under the Lord’s rulership. Holiness becomes complete when nothing outside or inside is kept back from Christ’s command and demand.
