God is actively at work, bringing forth miracles in the lives of His people. These divine interventions often arrive in unexpected ways and through unexpected means. The process can feel messy and overwhelming, much like the intensity of a birthing room. Yet, in the midst of the struggle, God provides coaches and companions for the journey. He calls His people to worship their way through the process, confounding the enemy and ushering in His promises. [50:08]
“Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within me.” (Psalm 51:10 ESV)
Reflection: What specific miracle are you believing God for in this season, and how can you actively "worship your way" toward it, even when the process feels messy or uncertain?
Every believer has been given a new spiritual operating system when they were born again. This system moves us from a worldly way of thinking to a kingdom perspective. It is impossible to run the applications of heaven—like forgiveness, trust, and service—on the old operating system of the flesh. This requires a conscious decision to not be conformed to the world but to be transformed by the renewing of our minds. [01:27:22]
“Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.” (Romans 12:2 ESV)
Reflection: In what specific area of your life are you still trying to run a "heavenly application" (like forgiveness or trust) on a "worldly operating system," and what is one practical step you can take today to update your thinking to align with God's kingdom?
Our lives, like computers, collect corrupted files of bitterness, pride, and past sins. Repentance is God's delete key for these files; we cannot simply rename them and hope they improve. Furthermore, we must empty the recycle bin of self-condemnation, refusing to pull out what God has forgiven. We are called to guard our thought life, focusing on what is true and honorable, and leaving the deleted files in the past. [01:30:14]
“Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things.” (Philippians 4:8 ESV)
Reflection: Is there a "corrupted file" of a past mistake or hurt that you have repented of but continue to pull out of the recycle bin through shame or self-condemnation? What would it look like to finally accept God's deletion and leave it there for good?
There are moments in our walk with God when a simple refresh is needed. When prayer feels dry, worship feels distant, or joy is gone, it does not mean the system is broken. It means it is time for a reboot. This is not a sign of failure but a necessary step to return to the presence of the Lord, where times of refreshing are found. A reboot can restore clarity and purpose without needing to change our external circumstances. [01:35:58]
“Repent therefore, and turn back, that your sins may be blotted out, that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord.” (Acts 3:19-20a ESV)
Reflection: Where in your spiritual life are you currently feeling "frozen" or in need of a refresh? What would a practical "reboot" look like for you this week—perhaps a dedicated time of prayer, worship, or solitude?
Our spiritual health requires guarding the passwords of our integrity and character. It also demands we are mindful of our clicks, as every decision leads us closer to God or further away. We must close the distracting windows of fear, offense, and cultural division that slow us down. Ultimately, we must stay connected to our power source through prayer, the Word, and the Holy Spirit, for in Him we live and move and have our being. [01:38:13]
“for ‘In him we live and move and have our being’; as even some of your own poets have said, ‘For we are indeed his offspring.’” (Acts 17:28 ESV)
Reflection: What "windows" of distraction—such as comparison, political anger, or cultural bias—do you need to close in your life to improve your connection to God and experience His perfect peace?
Worship functions as a spiritual lifecycle that catalyzes miracles, breaks yokes, and reorients identity. The assembly experiences worship as an active posture that invites God’s intervention—often messy like a birthing room, requiring persistence through pain and uncertainty until a finished miracle emerges. The anointing functions as spiritual weight and authority that removes oppression; when the anointing increases, pressure surfaces to expose what must change, and steadfastness rather than flight secures lasting transformation.
Spiritual health requires an operating system update: conversion installs a kingdom OS that must be maintained by continuous truth downloads. Corrupted files—bitterness, secret sin, unforgiveness, shame—clog spiritual functioning and demand repentance, not cosmetic fixes. Repentance acts as God’s delete key; true forgiveness means emptying the recycle bin so past offenses cannot be restored by habit or self-recrimination.
Periodic reboots bring necessary refreshment. Dry prayer, distant worship, lost joy, and spinning anxiety signal the need to restart in God’s presence so spiritual applications run correctly. Guarding spiritual passwords and cookies—integrity, private holiness, and habits—preserves access to God and prevents hidden clicks from forming strongholds. Closing unnecessary windows of fear, comparison, political anger, or cultural conformity narrows focus and restores peace rooted in kingdom identity rather than social identity.
Recovery after a crash proves God’s speciality: losses can be recovered when pursuit aligns with divine direction. Prayer sustains connection; the word operates as data, and the Spirit provides signal strength. Practical disciplines—regular repentance, confession, focused worship, and intentional clearing of clutter—enable sustained spiritual performance. When system-update prompts arrive, immediate restart rather than delay invites renewal, restores authority over past patterns, and readies believers to run heaven’s applications with kingdom clarity. The final invitation calls for an immediate spiritual reboot: submit the operating system to God, restart now, and move forward with renewed signal strength and kingdom alignment.
The world operating system says, get even, protect yourself, and live for self. The kingdom operating system says, forgive and it's not easy. Trust God and it's not easy, and serve others and that's harder. But I came to tell you today, you cannot run heaven's applications on hell's operating system. We need to write a book on that one.

There are moments in our lives we need a spiritual reboot. When your prayer life feels dry, we need to reboot. When worship feels distant, we need to reboot. When your joy is gone, when my attitude is off, I need a reboot. A reboot doesn't mean the system is broken. It means it needs to be refreshed.

We live in a digital world. Every day, we click, we download, we send mail. Anybody love passwords? No. I hate them. Sometimes we have to reboot our devices. If your spiritual life were a computer, what condition would it be in? Are you fast, organized, and secure, or are you frozen, spinning, and cluttered? Are you full of corrupted files?

Prayer is your connection to him. The word is your data stream. The Holy Spirit is your signal strength. So if your strength is a little bit weak, you need to submit resubmit yourself to the Holy Spirit so he can bring a strong signal into your life. You won't have to be hoping and and maybe so and hope so. You can know so because he's your signal strength. See,

Some people repent, but they don't empty the trash. Some people say, I know God forgave me, but I can't forgive myself. When you can't forgive yourself, it's like reinserting a virus into your life. Philippians four eight says, finally, believers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable and worthy of respect, whatever is right and confirmed by God's word.

Be careful what you pull back out of the recycle bin to the desktop of your life. Let grace finish what your repentance started. So empty the recycle bin so you can't go back and restore it. Reboot when necessary. Don't you just love having to reboot? But the good news is a reboot does not mean your system is broken.

First of all, whether you know it or not, you must have an operating system. Your computer must have an operating system for it to function. Every computer runs on an operating system. Without it, your computer will not work correctly. When we were born again, God installs a new operating system in us. Yeah. We move from a world system to a kingdom system.

See, some believers have a window of fear open, a window of comparison open, a window of offense open, a window of political anger open. Some people have a window of cultural differences open. I'm gonna ask you a tough question in this multicultural church that we're in. Does your culture shape you or does the kingdom the culture of the kingdom shape you?
