#FreedomThroughConfession
“But when we confess, when we draw near to him and say, Jesus, I can't fix me, only you can. He washes us white as snow. He restores us the joy of our salvation so that we can live free, unburdened by slavery, unburdened, unchained by sin, walking in freedom. If you ever hid something, you know the weight, the heaviness on your shoulders, how it grows, how it gnaws at you, how it sickens you. And yet, fear and shame can keep us hiding when ironically it's confession and bringing it into the light where we find healing, where we find freedom where the darkness loses its power.”

#SlayTheSecrets
“So I plead with you again this morning. Slay the secrets. Repent. Turn from darkness and come into the light of Jesus and received his gift of salvation. For all of us this morning, regardless of how you've been following Jesus, how long, maybe this is your first time in a church, maybe been walking with him for decades, commit to live this out, to be quick, to confess, to repent, to daily recognize our need for grace, for new morning mercies each and every day, to never lose sight of the joy of our salvation, that we can never earn it, we can never deserve it. It's a free gift when we give Jesus our life, when we receive his grace and his forgiveness.”

#PowerOfConfession
“I want you to know this morning that there is power in confession. There is healing in confession. There's a restored joy and intimacy that we can experience with God and with others. When we stop pretending, when we stop hiding, when we stop acting like we have it all together, when we stop deceiving ourselves, and we simply confess and pray together.”

#PrayAndReceive
“Are you suffering? Linger here in prayer. James five says, if anyone's suffering, let him pray. Are you cheerful? Linger this morning for a few minutes and sing praise. Are you sick? Come forward, repent, be anointed with oil, and receive prayer. Do you need to confess? Do it today. Don't wait. As we follow God with obedience and humility, I pray that we would encounter a move of God like we've seen throughout history.”

#ChurchWithoutSecrets
“What would it look like for us at Harvest to be a church without secrets? For your family to be a family without secrets. A marriage without secrets. Regular confessing, humility, seeking the Lord, not giving the enemy any foothold. Because like we sang about earlier this morning, he's all we want. I just want Jesus. I just want him. Nothing else will satisfy. Tear down the idols.”

#NonstopPrayerMovement
“After that service, they decided to start a prayer meeting, which would become the prayer meeting that would last for one hundred years of nonstop intercession twenty four seven around the clock where people gathered to pray throughout the night, throughout the day, non stop prayer. From that prayer meeting, it would turn into a missions movement where they would be sent out all around the globe to reach those who had not yet heard the good news of Jesus Christ. And within two decades of starting, these people who became known as the Moravians would surpass the output of all other Protestant missions movements of their time.”

#HolySpiritConviction
“And as he was preaching, the Holy Spirit fell in such a powerful way that those who were present were convicted of their sins and right there began to confess to one another and to seek forgiveness from one another. No explaining, no trying to justify their wrongs, just naming their sins and seeking forgiveness from each other. The Holy Spirit's presence was so strong that day that that service ended up going on for hours, and people lingered in the overwhelming sweet presence of God.”

#ConfessionSparksRevival
“But if you were to ask the people who were there, the people who were there in those meetings at the beginning of this movement and say, how did this happen? They would tell you that the one hundred years of nonstop prayer was the result of the overflow of one service of unfiltered healing confession. The revival didn't happen because people planned it. It didn't happen because a charismatic pastor cast the vision for it with great strategy. It happened as a result of the people of God confessing their sins to one another and encountering the Holy Spirit.”
