And Jesus comes and he bleeds and he dies and he makes covenant with you and me and he pours himself out for us so that we could be like him even to to the place where we would deny ourselves, take up our cross, and follow him daily, and to love people as he has loved us. And to be friends with the world in a way that says, you guys are really weird. You don't treat me like the way that other people treat me. You you you do things and you pray for me and you care for me and you show up for me. You're so strange and so weird, but I wanna be like you. [00:50:27] (40 seconds)  #CrossShapedLife Download clip

I know the struggle is real, but the hope of God is bigger. His relationship to you is one of redemption and grace. He invites you into that place to bring all the stuff as you are, to restore you, to make you who you could not be on your own. But it's not just for your good. It's also for the good of the world, for the good of your neighbor, for the good of your family, the good of your coworker, fellow student so that they may see the love of Christ that compels you, that you are his disciple.
