Reaching the Unengaged: A Call to Action

Summary

In today's message, I shared a heartfelt vision that aligns with the Great Commission given by Jesus: to make disciples of every nation. This vision is beautifully depicted in the Book of Revelation, where it is foretold that people from every nation, tribe, and language will one day worship together before the throne of God. However, there remains a significant challenge today—there are still about 3,000 unengaged people groups worldwide. These groups, often small tribes, have no Bible, no believers, and no body of Christ among them. This is a call to action for us to reach these groups, which I refer to as the final frontier project.

Our mission through Daily Hope is not just about broadcasting messages globally but also about supporting efforts to reach these unengaged tribes. Recently, we've expanded our broadcasts to countries like Korea, Uganda, Rwanda, and South Sudan, where there are many unreached tribes. In the coming year, we plan to host an all-Africa Purpose-Driven Church Congress, bringing leaders from all 54 African nations together. This initiative aims to equip them with strategies to reach the unengaged people groups in their nations, starting with Africa.

This mission requires resources, and I am deeply grateful for your support of Daily Hope. As we approach the end of the year, I encourage you to consider giving by Revelation rather than by reason. Giving by Revelation involves seeking God's guidance on what He wants to give through you, even if it seems beyond your current means. We have a generous donor who has offered to match every gift up to $50,000 by the end of the year, doubling the impact of your contribution. I invite you to pray about this opportunity and consider how you can be part of this mission to reach the unreached.

Devotional

Day 1: The Call to Reach Every Nation
The Great Commission is a divine mandate to make disciples of all nations, a vision that finds its fulfillment in the Book of Revelation, where people from every nation, tribe, and language worship together before God's throne. Despite this promise, there are still approximately 3,000 unengaged people groups worldwide, lacking access to the Gospel. These groups represent the final frontier in the mission to spread the Good News. This challenge calls for a concerted effort to reach these unengaged tribes, ensuring that the Gospel is accessible to all, fulfilling God's promise of a diverse and unified body of believers. [00:23]

Revelation 7:9-10 (ESV): "After this I looked, and behold, a great multitude that no one could number, from every nation, from all tribes and peoples and languages, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed in white robes, with palm branches in their hands, and crying out with a loud voice, 'Salvation belongs to our God who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb!'"

Reflection: Consider the diversity of your own community. How can you actively participate in reaching out to those who have not yet heard the Gospel, both locally and globally?

Day 2: The Final Frontier Project
The final frontier project is an initiative focused on reaching the unengaged tribes who have never heard the Gospel. This mission is not merely about increasing numbers but about fulfilling God's promise of a diverse and unified body of believers. By addressing the needs of these unengaged groups, the project aims to bring the Gospel to those who have no Bible, no believers, and no body of Christ among them. This endeavor requires dedication, resources, and a heart aligned with God's vision for all nations. [00:56]

Matthew 24:14 (ESV): "And this gospel of the kingdom will be proclaimed throughout the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come."

Reflection: What steps can you take today to support efforts in reaching unengaged people groups, whether through prayer, financial support, or personal involvement?

Day 3: Empowering Local Leaders
Expanding the broadcast reach to countries with many unreached tribes, such as South Sudan, is a strategic step in the mission to spread the Gospel. By equipping local leaders through initiatives like the all-Africa Purpose-Driven Church Congress, these leaders can be empowered to reach their neighbors effectively. This approach emphasizes the importance of local leadership in spreading the Gospel and fulfilling the Great Commission. [02:04]

Acts 1:8 (ESV): "But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth."

Reflection: How can you support and encourage local leaders in your community to be effective witnesses for Christ?

Day 4: Giving by Revelation
Giving by Revelation involves seeking God's guidance on what He wants to give through you, beyond what seems reasonable. This kind of giving requires faith and trust in God's provision and aligns with His purposes. It challenges believers to move beyond their comfort zones and trust in God's ability to provide for their needs while contributing to His mission. [03:36]

2 Corinthians 9:7-8 (ESV): "Each one must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that having all sufficiency in all things at all times, you may abound in every good work."

Reflection: What is one area of your life where you feel God is calling you to give beyond your current means? How can you trust Him to provide as you step out in faith?

Day 5: The Power of Matching Gifts
A generous matching gift opportunity allows contributions to have double the impact, supporting efforts to reach the unreached. This is a chance to participate in a significant mission that aligns with God's heart for all nations. By taking advantage of this opportunity, believers can see their contributions multiplied, furthering the reach of the Gospel to those who have never heard it. [04:08]

Luke 6:38 (ESV): "Give, and it will be given to you. Good measure, pressed down, shaken together, running over, will be put into your lap. For with the measure you use it will be measured back to you."

Reflection: How can you take advantage of opportunities to maximize your giving, such as matching gifts, to further God's mission in the world?

Quotes

"Jesus said in the Great Commission Go Make Disciples of every nation and then twice in the Book of Revelation he says that in heaven one day there will be people around the Throne of God from every nation every people every language and every tribe that's going to be a wonderful scene when we have people from every language group praising God in heaven." [00:10:22]

"There are still about 3,000 people groups they're very small very small tribes around the world where there is no Bible no believer and no body of Christ we call these people the unengaged people groups no Bible no believer and no body of Christ and I want to ask you to join me to make an effort to reach these people this next year and in the years ahead." [00:38:44]

"It's one of the reasons I started daily hope is to support what I call the final frontier project going to these last 3,000 small groups of people none of them have more than a 100,000 members in their tribe some of them are small as 5,000 8 10,000 people now when you support daily hope uh broadcast you're not just supporting us being being on the air around the world you're also supporting our efforts to go to these final 3,000 uh tribes that have no Bible no believer and no body of Christ." [00:65:40]

"Just recently we started broadcasting in Korea uh in Uganda in Rwanda and in South Sudan and let me tell you why South Sudan is important because there are about 300 of those unengaged unreached tribes in South Sudan and in North Sudan now we're also planning uh in the year this next year an all Africa purpose-driven Church Congress where we're going to bring in leaders from all 54 African nations together and have a week of training to help them plan a nationwide National strategy to reaching the unengaged people groups in their Nations." [00:107:39]

"If we bring the leaders in to then go to their near Neighbors in their countries that's the fastest way to get to these 3,000 tribes and we're starting with the continent of Africa now that of course takes money it takes funds and I just want to pause here and tell you how much I appreciate your support of daily hope as I said it doesn't just go to support the broadcast uh radio but it helps us with this Global effort." [00:155:51]

"As you consider your end of the year gift would you do this would you stop and pray and say God what do you want to give through me to daily hope Ministry now let me explain the difference between uh giving by reason and giving by Revelation when you give by reason you give a reasonable amount you look at your funds and your book in your checking account you say well I think I could give this amount and you give a reasonable amount anybody can do that you don't even have to be a Christian to give by reason you don't have to have any faith." [00:183:87]

"But the kind of giving that pleases God is giving by Revelation I have done this hundreds and hundreds of times and in giving by Revelation you say God I want you to reveal to me I want you to tell me what you want to give through me I may not even have it but I'm going to give it and I'm going to commit to give it." [00:218:72]

"We've had a wonderful uh donor who's offered to double every gift up to $50,000 uh by the end of the year so if you're able to give a gift to daily hope before the end of the year you can actually double it because of this matching gift and this generous friend of daily hope is so committed to our efforts at to reaching people for Jesus that he has offered to make this $50,000 matching gift and he's challenged friends like you to match it in full so would you pray about giving by Revelation at the end of the year." [00:238:40]

"Let me just say thank you I love you I care for you and I'm praying for you and I'm glad that you and I together are following Jesus in the new year and let's have another year five days a week of daily hope as we move forward in Jesus Christ God bless you." [00:274:80]
