“And tawdah, it says raising your hands in faith for the future. And this this shows up actually in the story of Jonah when he gets swallowed by the whale or it's a big fish that he's he's in there and he's like, oh, man. I didn't wanna go to Nineveh, and now God is forcing me to go to Nineveh. And he's praying and he's praying to God, and it says, I will sacrifice to you the voice of thanksgiving, tawdah, that I which I have vowed I will pay. Salvation is from the Lord, and then the Lord commanded the fish and spit Jonah up on the dry land.”
38s
“And there's there's those times where we are just stuck in the fish, where we're feeling just, like, down low. So many of these songs that we sing about, are we in the dark place? Are we in a hard place? That we can say, tawda. We can raise our hands, and we can raise our hands in faith for the future. On Psalm fifty fifty fourteen, it says, offer God praise to tawda, to reach out your hands and fulfill the vows to the most high. Call on me in the day of trouble and I will deliver you and you will honor me.”
