Radical obedience is not about doing more just to prove something. Radical obedience is believing and receiving what God has said. Kingdom Church International’s why is a radical, ongoing, passionate relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ, and its what is to love, live, and lead like Jesus, manifest His kingdom, and make disciples that make disciples. The Spirit, not human might or power, remains the foundation for that life.
Isaiah says the willing and obedient shall eat the good of the land. The good of the land comes after believers are about the Father’s business. Love, live, lead, manifest, make disciples, and then eat. God will not bypass His own Word, but obedience opens the way for what He has promised. Struggle still comes with the promise, because struggle builds strength, character, and maturity while pulling entitlement up out of the heart.
James warns that hearers who do not become doers deceive themselves. The enemy uses distraction to bring deception, but he cannot keep distracting a life that is actively doing the Word. The preached Word becomes light. Genesis shows that before God’s light comes, life is without form, void, and dark. The Word exposes what is empty, out of order, and dark, but it does not expose just to shame somebody. It comes with the solution that drives darkness out.
Proverbs gives the pattern: wisdom builds the house, understanding establishes it, and knowledge fills the rooms. Exposure is wisdom. Education is understanding. Execution is knowledge. A person can know what God says and even understand it, yet still have a disconnect until that truth gets into the knower and becomes real life. Relationships, finances, health, marriage, and singlehood all need God’s knowledge for how they are supposed to work. Somebody has to surrender for Christ to get in the house.
Jehoshaphat stands before Judah and Jerusalem with a word for a battle against three nations: believe in the Lord, and believe His prophets. The battle is not theirs. God calls them to see with their ears instead of their eyes. Praise goes out front while the Lord fights, and praise must stay positive after it starts. Negative words strengthen the enemy, but faith agrees with God’s Word: “I believe, I receive.” That Word establishes, advances, and causes believers to live beyond the five senses. When Judah praises, God confuses the enemy and turns the battlefield into a place of gathering treasure.

Key Takeaways
- 1. Believe before trying to receive. Belief is agreement with what God has said, even when natural sight argues against it. Receiving follows when faith stops treating God’s Word like information and begins treating it as settled truth. “I believe, I receive” means the heart has moved from hearing a promise to living from it. [41:46]
- 2. The Word exposes and supplies answers. God’s light reveals emptiness, darkness, and areas without His form. That exposure is not God trying to embarrass somebody; it is God showing where His solution must enter. A heart that receives correction can let the Word drive out what the Word uncovered. [16:48]
- 3. Struggle builds what comfort cannot. The struggle is not automatically proof that something has gone wrong. God uses struggle to build strength, character, and maturity, especially where entitlement still wants to rule. Faith does not have to like the struggle, but faith must embrace what God is using it to produce. [08:52]
- 4. Praise must outlast negative sight. Praise begins while the battle is still going on because God is already fighting what belongs to Him. Negative words after praise can strengthen the enemy by returning focus to what the eyes see. Praise and positivity keep the heart aligned with the victory God has declared. [32:45]
- 5. Execution turns truth into real life. Wisdom can expose and understanding can establish, but knowledge executes. God’s Word must become the way decisions are made in marriage, singleness, finances, health, and every other area. Truth has reached the knower when obedience no longer requires endless inner debate.
