#PutGodFirst
“``Because if we are real with ourselves and we allow God to search our hearts and show us our ways and lead us into the way everlasting, then he will show us exactly where we are, and only then can we know exactly how to get where he wants us to go. But we've got to evaluate ourselves. And if God is not first in your schedule or in your relationships or in whatever it might be, if your priorities have not, included him as the top one, then I wanna ask you this question in your life today. Who moved him? If he is not first, who moved him out of that spot? Who moved him out of first place? Who moved him out of top priority in your life?”

#StopDriftingFromGod
“But they finished their houses and focused on what they needed and what they wanted and making their lives great and their homes great, but the temple of God, the house of God was in ruins. It was forgotten. It was pushed to the side. They were being selfish, and we naturally drift towards selfishness if we're not careful. It's kind of our default setting as humans. We don't wake up one morning and just decide to abandon God. We we simply one day stop making him an anchor point for this situation, or we stop making him important in in this, and then slowly and quietly, we just wander away. We drift away from him as our solid foundation. And if we do not intentionally build our lives around God, placing him first, then we will default to building our lives without him completely.”

#BigRocksFirst
“It's impossible. If the sand is in there and filled it all the way up to the top, there is no space for the big things to fit in there, for the big rocks to fit in there, for my time with God, for my prayer, my personal life with him, my service to him, my service to those around me, the relationships and and speaking and doing the things that God has called me to do, if I fill my life up with all of the other things, if I build up my house and make it wonderful and beautiful and perfect, but I forget about the obedience to God and what he has called me to do, then my life and my time is gonna be completely filled up with the things that really don't matter. And I'm left with all of the important things, the top priorities sitting outside of my life with absolutely no way to fit them in. And that's what we have got to be careful of is that we don't pit the big rocks in first. If we don't put the big priorities in first, the first things first, then we'll never get them in. We'll never get them in.”

#ObedienceBringsPresence
“We will find that whenever we are actively pursuing God and giving him glory for the things in our lives, that the presence of the Lord, the Holy Spirit will be with you. And that's not just Old Testament promise. That is today. That is for us. When we are doing what God has called us to do, his presence will be with us, and we will feel him, and we will see his hand evident in our lives and the things that just happen around us and the blessings that flow. God promised the obedient builders that I am with you, and his presence is the ultimate blessing that we can have in our lives.”
