#FightTheGoodFight
“``So as we get ready to leave here today and to head back out into the world, Are you ready to keep up the fight? You are in a fight for your life. And actually, it is even bigger than that. Your enemy would love to take you down. It is not gonna be easy. But let me tell you what, it's gonna be worth it. So fight the good fight. Flee from temptation. Pursue righteousness and godliness. Hold on to the faith that you have been given with all that you've got. And every day, keep on fighting the good fight until you see Jesus face to face as you stand by his side in victory in heaven that he has won for you.”

#JesusIsOurChampion
“``And finally, Jesus is our champion. Paul urged Timothy and us to keep on fighting the good fight, to keep the faith until Jesus comes back. And with that encouragement, he gives us the promise that Jesus is going to come back. And when Jesus comes back, he is going to come back in victory and he will give us the victory as well. Because we know that, we don't need to be discouraged. We don't need to get beaten down as we fight this fight. No. We can take heart and take hold of the faith that God has given to us and keep on fighting the good fight until Jesus comes back in victory. He is our champion.”

#HoldFastToFaith
“``Paul tells us, fight the good fight of the faith. Take hold of the eternal life for which you were called when you made your good confession in the presence of many witnesses. You see, you strive for these things. You fight for them because your Christian faith is worth fighting for. You see, you have been brought to faith in your lord Jesus. God has made known to you what Jesus has done for you. You have come to know and to believe that Jesus lived and died for you to take your sins away and that because Jesus did that, you are right with god and you have eternal life waiting for you. What a wonderful gift that God has given to you. So hold on to it with everything that you've got.”

#ChooseContentment
“``It's kinda comical to think that a man who already had so much would all of a sudden become content if he just got a little bit more. how often don't we behave the same way? We think that if I can just get a little bit more than that is going to be enough. If I can just get that promotion or that raise. If I can just get that place up north. I can just get my kid onto the best sports team or into the best college, that'll be enough. But what so often happens is that so many people go off in that pursuit of just a little bit more. And more and more of their focus goes into that pursuit of more that they lose focus on how God has already given you everything that you need in Christ. Paul warned Timothy to flee from that temptation. And I think we would do well to listen to that warning today.”
