#MutualEdification
“If God saves you, but not only saves you but connects you, how does what you're doing strengthen the body? If we can't pinpoint that, then maybe it's about coming to the Lord and say, God, connect me. I wanna strengthen the body with what I do, with what I know. And so purp, purpose matures whenever it shifts from self advancement to mutual edification. That's where it's at. That's when purpose matures, where it's not about self advancement, but about mutual edification.”

#CalledToFamily
“I wanna close off by saying that you're called to a family, not just the future. You're not just called to a future. You're called to a family. The world today that we live in has made us focus so much on the future, on ensuring my future. And many people chasing a future have disregarded family, community. An example of this that we have is the prodigal son. He's like, where when is when can I get my inheritance, my money so that I can go and I can do my thing, my dreams? And in chasing opportunities and wanting to live and explore and wanting that, he missed his family.”

#ConnectedCalling
“I can be somewhere else because of my work, because because of where life is taking me, because of the season of my life, but I stay connected to those people that God put in my life. I stay connected to where God has me serving, where God has me growing, where God has me in his word. And so the truth today is that your calling only makes full sense when it's connected to others. Your calling only makes full sense when it's connected to others. You could be working at your calling, but if it's not connected to others, it won't make full sense. If you're disconnected from the body, you don't just hurt the church. You weaken your own purpose. So if you're disconnected from the body, it's not only the church that you hurt, you weaken your own purpose. We're meant to be part of a body. Come on. Give the lord a hand. He knows what he was doing when he designed us.”

#DistributedPurpose
“You have grace that other people need. You have things that you do well that other people need. And I wanna say this too. This may be mind blowing, but others have some stuff that you need as well. Others have some stuff that you need. No one gets the full picture alone. No one. Community is important. God distributes purpose across people, not across individuals. That's how God does it. He distributes purpose to people across people. So one person doesn't have the full image and the clear image of God. The body does. The community does.”
