#LiveToMakeChristKnown
“``Living with purpose is not about making a name for ourselves. It's about making Christ known. That means every prayer matters, every act of kindness matters, every act of obedience matters, And every opportunity to share the gospel matters. David's prayer was not for a longer life, but to live life wisely and with purpose. And although we cannot control the length of our days, we can choose how we live each day. Living with purpose means we walk closely with God, we serve others faithfully, we use our time wisely, we invest in eternity, and we finish well.”

#ReadyForTomorrow
“And James four fourteen compares life to a vapor that only appears for a short time before it suddenly disappears like the smoke from blowing out birthday candles. And people often ask hypothetically, what would you do if you knew tonight was your last night on Earth? What would you do? How would you enjoy yourself? And people have all kinds of ideas and answers on their bucket list about what they would do. But wouldn't it be nice just to have such peace in life that you could say, I don't need to go around tonight and tell everybody that I love them because they already know. I don't have to ask for forgiveness or tell others that I forgive them because it's already been done. I don't have to worry about the cares of this world because God's in control. And I don't have to go out and do any last thrill because whatever I decide to do pales in comparison to what awaits me. So tonight, I think I'm just gonna stay home and brush my teeth and say my prayers and be in bed by 09:00 because tomorrow is gonna be a really big day.”

#SurrenderWithATeachableHeart
“You can't ever say I've tried Christianity and it doesn't work for me if you've never surrendered your whole heart to Christ. No turning back. No total surrender. Do you have a teachable heart and open mind towards the things of God? Pray and ask God for wisdom every day. Read your bible and invite him to reveal what truly matters in life and guard your words especially in times of your suffering. Don't become a stumbling block to others from discovering the goodness of God. Live with humility and purpose, knowing every day is a gift because tomorrow is not promised to us.”

#SilenceLikeChrist
“We all have the ability to sin with our mouths. James tells us out of the same mouth come both praise and cursing. And in times of trouble and sorrow, it's better to remain silent than to say things that can dissuade others from knowing the goodness of God. When Jesus went to the cross, he remained silent because he loved his father and he loved you. He didn't say this isn't fair. I don't deserve this. Why me? Isaiah said he was oppressed and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth. Like a lamb that has led to the slaughter and like a sheep that before its shearers is silent, so he opened not his mouth. Jesus did that for you.”
