#SeekFirstKingdom
“``Billion dollar industry in America over sleep aids. These people can't go to sleep. Their mind's racing constantly. But seek first the kingdom of God, and all these things will be added to you. Oftentimes, anxiety isn't because we care about something too much. It's because what we care about is too small. It's minor things that can create major anxiety. What you seek first determines what you stress most in your life. So the goal isn't to find something bigger to worry about. It's to find someone bigger to seek.”

#ThanksgivingDefeatsAnxiety
“Some of us just need to hear that. Not every thought deserves a seat at the table. Every thought that comes in does not deserve. So what is thanksgiving? This is super pop, super important. Thanksgiving is spiritual warfare against anxiety. Talked about this last week by keeping a gratitude journal. Speak it out. What are you thankful for? What are what are 10 things every day? Worry is often rooted in selective memory. Worry remembers what could go wrong. Thanksgiving remembers what God has already done.”

#RememberGodsFaithfulness
“When you're overwhelmed and you don't know what to do, recall every time God has been faithful in your life. Every time that you've confessed your sins, he's met you with grace and mercy. No matter who you are or what you've done, God sees you. He loves you. He cares about you. Do you believe that? This is not a push a button easy solution, but let's begin to drift our mind to things of God. So what did David do in first Samuel 36, the second half of verse six? David found strength in the Lord his God.”

#GodCaresNotJustCan
“So rather than focusing on the problem, focus on on who God is. Replace the information with who God is. Overcome anxiety by limiting information overload by filling your mind with God's word. Overcome anxiety by shifting from God can, which we may all believe that God can do anything. That's different than saying God cares. God cares about your thoughts. He cares about how you feel. He cares. First Peter five seven, cast all your care upon him, for he cares for you. Do you believe that today?”

#StrengthInGodInChaos
“Not after the victory. His men are turning against him. His men want to stone him. That was part of the passage too. I mean, his this is an awful day. Some of you can relate. All his men are gonna turn. David, you let this happen. But David, in the moment, where did David go? The strength of his God. Doesn't know how this is gonna end. He doesn't know what's gonna happen, but he finds strength in the Lord his God.”

#GiveGodYourBurdens
“Finally, overcome anxiety by moving your thoughts into God's presence. There's some powerful things that happen. When we pray, our concerns and our worries, and the peace of God that surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. you pray, it's when it's where burdens change hands. The burdens that you're holding onto when you pray enter into God's hands. Move your thoughts from your mind into the presence of God. He will then return, give us peace to you.”

#DwellInGodsPresence
“Dwell on it. Dwell on it. Dwell on it. You think about it. You can't sleep at night. You wake up, and you're thinking about it all throughout the day. You're dwelling on it. What does David say? He uses the same word, but he says, I will dwell in the house of the Lord. Now God doesn't dwell in buildings made with human hands anymore. Bible tells us. Where does God dwell? Presence of God dwells in his people. One thing you ask, you want the presence of God. You just simply say, I say yes to Jesus. The work of Jesus and the presence of God indwells you. The one thing that I ask for that, I will seek after. So seek. What does it mean to seek after God? Not just gaze upon his beauty, but to seek after him means to seek after his will. What does God want for you? And then do that. In my life, I'll I can testify that the more I follow Jesus, overall, my life is less complicated. easier, less complicated. Just in general, pick a subject. When I apply God's when I seek after what God wants for me, my life's less complicated.”

#FaithThatStandsWorstCase
“Your faith must be able to stand the worst case scenario. So what does David do throughout this psalm? Worst case scenario. He's going to describe some things and write about some things that we don't even know if they actually happened in his life, but he said, if this were to happen, God, you're still my stronghold. You're still my light. You're still my salvation.”
