“You are not an accident. You are not mass produced on an assembly line. When you stand in front of the mirror and hate your body or hate your personality or wish you had someone else's laugh or someone else's frame or someone else's spouse, you are criticizing the deliberate hands on artistry of the god of the universe. He knit you together. He wrote your story every day as in yet none of them had been lived. God didn't want another version of you. He wanted you as you are. And so in the metroplex of 8,500,000 people where the world tries to treat you like a generic number, remember that God looks at you and says, you are fearfully and wonderfully made.”

“And so because God knows us completely, we don't have to live for the applause of the crowd. You don't have to be crushed by their criticism. God sees what no one else sees. He sees your quiet obedience when no one's watching. He sees the times you bite your tongue. Instead of saying what the thing that you feel in the moment, he sees the generosity that nobody else sees or claps for or knows about. He sees the tears you cried in the car before you walk into work. He sees it all. When the world completely misunderstands you, you can rest, you can exhale because there's one who gets you completely, entirely, who knows you and still loves you.”

“Every person on the planet has God's undivided attention. He knows where you are. He knows what you are thinking. He knows how many hairs are on your head or lack thereof. He knows your character. He knows your essence. He knows your inner being. Know in Hebrew is not just intellectual. It's not academic. It's not clinical. It's not abstract. It's personal. It's intimate. It is deep. He knows who you are and what you do. Yahweh knows everything about everything, and not because he learned it, but because he created it.”

“God made you. And the the the term here is so beautiful. You know, we sing as little kids. He's got the whole world in his hands, but he's knitting you together, his hands, your brand new DNA code, 3,000,000,000 characters that describe and create the you with your particular hair and skin tone and eye color and shape, all of that, your circulatory system, your skin, your your gender, your size, your stature. DNA code is god describing you, knitting you together, writing you like poetry.”
