#WorshipBeyondBlessings
“Job lost everything except the only thing. He lost everything he had except the one thing he worshiped, looked to, and trusted in. He lost everything but the one thing. His relationship to God was not contingent on the stuff of God. His his worship of God was not contingent on, okay, I'm going to worship you and I'm going to sacrifice to you I'm going to pray to you and I'm going to give to you but that's because we're like mutual partners in this thing like I do for you, you do for me. What that's that wasn't what entered his mind. I will worship God not for the stuff he's given me, but for who he is.”

#HopeInInstantChange
“Remember the things being subject to change? We often kind of heed that as a warning like, man, it's good now but but the good is subject to change. It can change in an instant and it can. But you know what else can change in an instant? The bad to good. That's that's what this Psalm is talking about. It is it is bone dry, but you can fill these streams with water in an instant. Everything in you God can change in an instant. It can happen just that quickly. That's why we rejoice. That's why we are faithful because we know as long as God is in the situation, the situation is not over. It can change for the better in an instant.”

#FatherAndKingJoy
“They do it all the time. They don't think about it at all. In fact, it's the first place they go in their minds. Because he's king. Yeah. But he's also my father. So yes, I'm going to the king but at the same time I'm going to my father who loves me and I know he'll get me a cup of water. You have restored our fortunes. The other nations are marveling at us. Restore us more, God, like the streams in the gem. This is great. Make it greater. You're my father. am your child. When you have God as father, a song of joy is always on the playlist.”

#IKnowMyRedeemer
“I don't know why my kids are dead. I don't know why my home is destroyed. I don't know why my fortune is gone. I don't know why my herds have been wiped out. I don't know why my crops have been burned. I don't know my my why my friends are talking to me like an enemy. I don't know any of that. I don't know why that's going on but I know my redeemer lives. And I know, I know that after my skin has been destroyed in my flesh I shall see God.”

#JoyAndSorrowBalance
“Imprisoned, beatings, kindness, patience. Unknown, well known, labeled as impostors yet we are true. As sorrowful yet always rejoicing. The joy doesn't drive out the sorrow, But the sorrow doesn't drive out the joy. I've known people like that though, haven't you? Man, when they are winning, they are winning. When they are in when they are receiving victory, they're laps. But the moment something bad happens, it all goes away. That portion of scripture we read there in Corinthians, we we we don't see a denial of reality. We see an embrace of reality.”

#UnshakeableJoyInSuffering
“This is life and it's hard. sure that Paul and his merry band of apostles and and co laborers in the ministry, if they had their choice they would opt out of the beatings. If it were up to them, they would go without the imprisonment. But it wasn't their call. It wasn't up to them. And guess what? It's not up to us either. There is going to be sorrow. There are going to be losses and there are going to be defeats and there are going to be hurts and there's gonna be all of this stuff in this crazy thing called life. But for those who belong to God, all the death, all the sickness, all the imprisonment, all the beating, all the impostering, all this stuff cannot and must not remove the joy.”

#RedeemerIsAllThatMatters
“I know my redeemer lives. And long after my skin has rotted away in my flesh, I will see Everything else is subject to change, but that ain't. And if that were subject to change and everything else wasn't subject to change, that would be bad. The one thing you gotta have is the one thing you always have through Jesus Christ.”

#FaithfulnessIsShowingUp
“You may not always feel like singing this song of joy. You may not always feel like doing a lot of things, but faithfulness is you just showing up in tears doing what has to be done. That's that's the imagery of the farmer sowing the seed while weeping. Doing what has to be done at a time when he doesn't feel like doing anything.”
