#CupOfSalvation
“``Think back to the last supper. There were four cups of wine as part of the Passover meal, and one of them was called the cup of salvation. The cup of salvation. How is this cup of salvation even possible to be given and to be received? Because Jesus took the cup of God's wrath. see, the the the cup of God's wrath was filled because of what we did. He took it, and he drank it. And what does he give to us in exchange? Cup Of his salvation.”

#FreeButNotCheap
“Now when you read this verse at face value, it says about paying. Paying? Can we pay the lord back for what he's done? You see, some people think that you either need to your salvation, need to work for it because nothing in this world is free, you have to pay the Lord back. But neither is true. You don't have to pay him back. You could never pay him back. It's free, but it's not cheap. It's free for you, but it cost him everything.”

#FindRestInHim
“There is true rest to our soul in god's bounty. In fact, the word rest is actually in the original Hebrew in plural. This is a complete and entire rest at all times and in all circumstances. No matter what's going on, he can give you rest. You can have rest in the midst of a storm. Did you know that? There could be a storm raging all around you in your life, and yet you can have rest. But the opposite is true too. Everything may be restful around you, and yet you may have unrest in your own soul. Find that rest in him.”

#GardenCupOfWrath
“You remember in the garden when he was there with the disciples who fell asleep, couldn't even stay up to pray with him? What was his prayer? If it be possible, this cup away from me, the cup of god's wrath. See, Jesus was not trembling because of the upcoming beating, the scourging of his back. He wasn't trembling because his nail his hands and feet will be pierced. He was trembling because he was facing separation from his father, taking on the infinite judgment for all the sins of the whole world upon him. He was fully God and fully man. And in that finite amount of time on the cross, he suffered infinity, infinity of judgment on our behalf. We can't even begin to imagine what he experienced for us.”
