#GraceAndMercy
“``He doesn't deal with us according to our sins. Sometimes we think he should. Sometimes we feel so guilty for what we've done. We think we deserve to be dealt with according to our sins and we do deserve that. That's why grace and mercy is such a special gift because he doesn't deal with us the way way we deserve. He deals with us according to his grace and his mercy and his love. He does not repay us according to our iniquities.”

#ForgivenAndGrateful
“Soul, wake up. Soul, be passionate about the Lord. And and then he begins to say, why? Why should we bless the Lord? Well look, the Lord is the one who forgives our iniquities. Literally, all our sins. So so the very first reason David says to his soul, bless the Lord is because the Lord has forgiven all of his sins. All of his iniquities are forgiven. that's a good reason to bless the Lord.”

#GodKnowsYourFrame
“Though I occasionally, probably more often than I'd like to admit, forget my children's frame. Forget that they are just little. Our God never forgets our frame. He never forgets and he doesn't treat you in a generic fashion. A father doesn't treat all of his kids the exact same way. He he fathers each child according to what they need, according to their frame. And David says here that God is the same way with his people. He cares for each of us specifically as a father cares for his children.”

#GodDoesntStayAngry
“He says in verse nine, God will not always chide that that he will not keep his anger forever. Do you think that that was a promise that was precious to David? Do you think when David sat in the ruins of his mistakes with Bathsheba weeping over a dead child that it was important to him to know that the Lord will not keep his anger forever. Can I tell you all, I think that some of you have this picture of God that he is angry with you forever because of what you have done? That he's holding on to your sins waiting to catch you with them. Can I just tell you that that is not the God that we serve? That your sins are forgiven in the blood of Christ. That he will not always chide. He does not stay angry forever.”
