#GlorifiedBodyHope
“``And yet the promise of God is the greater promise, the healing in the in this moment, the healing of the earthly body points to the greater fulfillment, which is the ultimate healing and the giving of a glorified body that one day we will never be ill again. One day we will be resurrected to new life and no one's gonna be praying that we feel better or that we need that some illness is taken away because it will be gone forever. And so this is what it means when Jesus says, they failed when Mark tells us, they failed to understand the bread. The bread was never about the bread.”

#StillWonderingGodProvides
“They lived wondering if God was gonna provide even though they'd seen him provide over and over again. And I think for us, there's times where we look at situations like that. We look at the disciples or the people that are around Jesus and they seem to just miss it. And we might shake our heads at them. We say, how did they do that? But we know if we're honest, there are times where we experience the same thing That we see God show up and yet we come to a new situation that's kind of overwhelming, and we say, God, where are you? Are you actually able to do what I am calling out for you? Are you actually able to care for my need?”

#WorkIsFinished
“That is a prayer that is answered. It way that we're asking of the time That if you've put your faith in Jesus, that's a once and for all. That he has provided, he has already done the work like we sang in our song. We sang the work is finished. The end is written. It's done. It is answered from here into eternity. And so there will always be needs that we have, and the Lord will hear us and he'll answer. But knowing that all of that has been taken care of, that our eternity is set, the end is written. We can go with confidence and as we bring him our needs and trust him to provide for all that we have. I was just thinking about prayer. You know, give us this day our daily bread. Give us today what we need for today. We trust in him. And as that prayer ends, for yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever.”

#MoreThanAnsweredPrayers
“I mean, yes, Jesus did provide and he fed and he did this incredible miracle, but it pointed to the greater thing. His body given, his bloodshed, his put in a tomb, resurrected three days later so that we might have forgiveness and life. And so for us, it's the opposite. For us, it's not about the answer to prayer, and it's good. It is good to bring our needs to God. And yet when he answers when he answers, we don't stop just with gratitude for the answer.”
