#GodsWisdomBlueprint
“``But the main thing that I wanna communicate to you as we go through this is just a real simple truth. God's wisdom is the blueprint for a well built life. God's wisdom is the blueprint for a well built life. And I wanna give you three ways that you can respond to that from this passage. So let's start with the if in chapter two verse one and we'll just do the first five verses.”

#RestoreWithFaith
“The gospel is this. The good news is this. No matter how badly you've messed up your build, no matter how far off the blueprint you've gotten, with God all things are possible. He can turn your life around if you start following him in faith, trusting in him. You're the Lord. I trust you. I wanna build according to your plan, and I don't wanna do anything else. He says, knock and you'll find. Ask and you'll receive. It will be given to you.”

#JesusPassesInspection
“And do I wanna follow him? And I I really wanna make this point really really clear. When we're talking about the proverbs, we're not talking about fortune cookies and stoicism and, you know, self help and just really try hard and get it right. It is still a matter of faith. It's still a matter of trusting that I'm never gonna get this right. But I followed Jesus and he got it right perfectly. In fact, he's the only one who ever got it completely perfect. He passes inspection.”

#RadicalRestoration
“The gospel is that Jesus doesn't just paint over your old sin. He doesn't just, oh well, you know, it's hidden like a bad builder would do. Instead Jesus goes, hey, wait. There's a problem right here. I think there's a problem behind that wall. Let's tear it out and find it. Let's get down to what's actually going on. Because isn't that what you actually want? I mean, you pay somebody a million dollars to build a house, don't you want them to follow the blueprint? And if they don't, don't you want them to find those places and fix it?”
35s
#SanctifiedStart
“And the way that you're doing it, sloppy man, it's not coming together right. You got all kinds of problems. So let's find where those problems are, let's highlight them, let's expose them, and let's fix them by rebuilding this house. That's what Jesus wants to do with you. He wants to start over. This is called sanctification. I believe in you. So now, let's get to work. Let's start fixing this. The best part about this, there's a promise in the book of Philippians that he who began a good work in you,”
36s
#PrioritizeWisdom
“a doctor will tell you what you need to change and a pastor will tell you what you need to change. And I I wanna make it just real clear that you are declaring your priorities by the things that you do. You will know what's important to you by how much time you spend on it. What this calls us to do, this passage is to make your irritative and your heart inclined and to call out with a raised voice and seek it like silver. Seek it like treasure. What it all comes right down to is what is it worth to you?”

#ChooseWisdomOverScreens
“We can find God's design for our lives. You've got some of you have phones. We have bibles. You can pick it up. You open your phone anywhere, anytime, any place. You can start reading God's word and have it right there. So availability and time aren't the problem. What is the real problem? Priorities. It's priorities. It's just, you know, it's not that it's not that important to me. To climb those golden stairs, what do you think they had to be willing”

#TubsOfWisdom
“Because my wife took the time to store them up. She kept an idea of where they were, and it it had someone's name on it. It was Lily's name. This is stuff I wanna give to Lily at some time. God stores up wisdom for you. stores up wisdom for you. He's got tubs of wisdom with your name on it. But you have to make the effort. You have to see it for what it is. James chapter one verse five says, that if any of you lacks wisdom, let ask God”
32s
“The good news is this.

“The reason that God is doing this is because God is righteous. He is the source of wisdom. He is good and holy and true and he wants that for our lives too. He doesn't want us to be struggling with sin for the rest of eternity, and so he's gonna deal with it. And he's giving us the the choice now. He's giving us the opportunity now for us to hear. What does he have to say to me? And do I wanna follow him? And I I really wanna make this point really really clear. When we're talking about the proverbs, we're not talking about fortune cookies and stoicism and, you know, self help and just really try hard and get it right. It is still a matter of faith. It's still a matter of trusting that I'm never gonna get this right. But I followed Jesus and he got it right perfectly. In fact, he's the only one who ever got it completely perfect. “Proverbs chapter two is broken down into three sections. If, then, and so. And you can see that there's one if, verse one. It's the word if is used like three times, but that section. verses five and nine, then you'll understand. And then, so verses twelve, sixteen and twenty. So you will be delivered and you will walk in the way of the good. That's how this passage is meant to be broken down. That's how we're gonna approach it. But the main thing that I wanna communicate to you as we go through this is just a real simple truth. God's wisdom is the blueprint for a well built life.
