#SpiritualDiscernment
“``And by sounding spiritually sincere, another side note, we're gonna be very wise when we're allowing people to speak into our lives that come across very spiritually sincere, but there's real no fruit in their lives. We've gotta be very wise of that. Spiritually sincere, she makes her invitation seem harmless to him. He's ignoring all the warning signs. If you've ever heard about that's a red flag, this guy is getting hit in the face with a red flag. Making himself even more vulnerable To temptation. This temptation has become his temptation. She's not tempting him. He has taken it. You see, we are always surrounded by temptation. As soon as we engage in the temptation, it becomes ours. It attaches itself to us and we go down the path. All of us are facing temptation. It becomes our temptation when we say yes to it and we engage in it.”

#DirectionOverIntention
“clearly there's a disconnect. From his intention, there's a disconnect. You can see the disconnect because of the direction that he is going. So the question that we have to ask ourselves, what was that disconnect that caused this young man to go down this path? Three very simple observations that I took away from this story that I would like to share with you. His intention was that he wanted richer relationships, So he desired that. But his direction was a he chose a path that would ultimately ruin them. He longed for what was good, but chose a path that wouldn't have a good outcome. Trying to prove his independence, I'm gonna make my own decisions, gonna do this on my own, I don't need anyone's advice or counsel, I'm gonna do it because I wanna be independent. He chose a well worn path that would enslave him.”

#WisdomOverIntelligence
“Having intelligence having intelligence means you know things. Okay? Having wisdom means you know what to do in various situations. in other words, you can be very smart but not wise. Wisdom helps us know what to do in specific situations. So wisdom will help you choose the right path But wisdom is also going to do this. When you get a bit stuck on a path and you don't know what to do, wisdom is going to get you to stop so that you don't make another decision on the same path to try and get out of that position. What does wisdom do? Wisdom is gonna call someone in that's a little bit wiser than you. Like the men and women who came to Solomon, Who are the men and women that you are going to to help you at work this thing life and help you get onto the path that God has called you to be on.”
