#MakeDisciplesFirst
“He has a mission for us. He said we should We should go, but then we shouldn't just go once we get there. We should make disciples in every nation. And disciples fear God. Disciples, by their very nature, by the word definition of the word, are followers of God. They put God in that position. So that's what we're supposed to do. That's our mission. But, see, we can start coming up with other kinds of missions. Well, I just want the world to be a better place when I'm done. Really? That's not your mission. Jesus didn't say, go into all the world and make the world a better place. He didn't say that. He said make disciples.”

#FearGodAsPosition
“So the idea wasn't, well, now you know how to fear the Lord. Okay. We're done there. No. But the learning the fear of the Lord is the beginning of something. And the fear of the Lord is a positional thing, not an emotion. And that's a big thing to get over. It's been a struggle for people historically to hear about the fear of the Lord because they can they always think of fear as an emotion.”

#PutGodBackOnThrone
“But this fear of the lord is simply putting him in the position of being over me. And when you go to the Garden Of Eden, the whole story is Adam and Eve decide they're not going to settle for that position anymore. That Satan lies to Eve and says, well, actually, when you when you learn the knowledge of good and evil, you'll be just like god. You can take his place. And up to this point, they had known only good and they met with god every day and it was an awesome thing. But now they take that place and the the first big result is confusion. They get completely confused about who they are, about what's going on, and they hide because they're so messed up and confused by the whole thing. So fearing the lord is putting him back in that position.”
