#PropheticForthTelling
“``Prophecy is not simply foretelling. Alright? It's not simply foretelling. It is faithful forth telling. The articulation of God's heart and mind to a people who need radical eschatological hope. Don't let that word trip you out. It just means the the end of times or the end of days. So we need a hope for the times that we're living in. The prophet announces a future. Hear me, Globe. I'm laying foundation this morning. The prophet announces a future powerful enough to produce obedience in the present. Jeremiah doesn't use tomorrow to help the people escape today. He uses tomorrow to teach them how to live today.”

#BuildForGenerations
“So the transition was to go from me to we. Bless me, prophecy, asks, when is my door opening? You know, we hear this all the time on the socials. When is my season changing? When is my money coming? When will my enemies fall? When will I leave Babylon? When will I leave my circumstance? bless us looking to for the house of God and the people of God to be blessed, ask a different question. What must we construct? What must we plant? What must we teach our children? How must our community survive? What institutions must exist when restoration comes? So one sees a quick exit, the other is building a lasting legacy. If your prophecy cannot build beyond your lifetime, it may be ambition wearing spiritual language.”

#DivineFormationNotDemonic
“This gives us a necessary prophetic distinction. Watch this. Not every uncomfortable place is demonic opposition. My supervisor's acting up not the devil. Devil. Devil. Not every uncomfortable place is demonic opposition. Some places are divine formation. It's god nurturing something in you that you don't even have language for yet. Notice something, saints, the difference between the false prophet and the mature prophet. False prophet acts interprets every difficulty an enemy to rebuke. The mature asks, Lord, what covenant lesson are you teaching us here?”

#ExileAsClassroom
“Babylon was supposed to diminish them, but God uses it to develop them. So exile became a classroom. Just like your circumstance becomes a classroom, It became a construction site. It became a generational incubator, and it became a place of covenant formation. So real prophecy does not remove responsibility. Real prophecy reveals responsibility. That's why every word that's spoken out of the mouth of God also requires a corresponding action to fulfill that which he has promised.”
