#GreatnessForOthers
“``The problem was his purpose. Joseph thought the dream was all about him. But this dream was never about him. His greatness was never for him. His greatness was never for him. And in the same way, as we pursue greatness in our life, can I remind you that the greatness that you are destined for, that is designed in you, that greatness is never Greatness is never for you. If God gives you influence, if God gives you a dream, if God increases your platform or your wealth or your capacity, it is never so you can run with a score on other people around you. God doesn't elevate you to make you a celebrity, he elevates you to make you a servant. Your promotion is for others' protection. Your resource is for their rescue. We don't need more great leaders in this world. What we need is great people who step into great responsibility.”

#TurnOffTheScoreboard
“``And some of you already living with this awareness. You just need to turn off the scoreboard because your scoreboard is never gonna make you feel significant. Your scoreboard will never make you feel like you have things together. But when you begin to live for others and give part of yourself away, you get to turn off the scoreboard and live as a servant. You do not need a stage to be significant. The king is already in the pit with you. The pit is not a graveyard. It's the womb. It's the womb where your future comes to life. So church, turn off the scoreboard. He is here. He is with you.”

#PitDoesntDefineYou
“``Because isn't it true that the pit convinces us to believe lies? That we're not significant, we're not worth it, that there's no way forward, that this is our life forever. Your pit moments will define you, but they will not make you. Your pit moments will not make you. They do not own you, but they will help you. They will help you see a future. They will help you understand people. They will help you care more. They will help you be more of you, but not right away. It may take years and time and healing and therapy and love and forgiveness. It may take so much time for you to get out of the pit you are in. But what the pit cannot do and should not do, it cannot convince you that you are done. It not it cannot convince you that greatness is not possible.”

#ServeInThePit
“``On the world scorecard he has zero points but Joseph refused to let the pit convince him that he was abandoned. He chose to believe what he knew over what he felt and he realized I don't need a royal coat to have the presence of God and I don't need a stage to have the favor of heaven in my life. He rejected the belief of the pit. He rolled up his sleeves and he became a servant to Potiphar.”
