“``Maybe you're here today, you're saying, Chino, that's me. And man, if I'm honest with you, Chino, I'm so far from God. I'm broken, I'm stuck, and I'm tired. I feel trapped, Chino. And I've tried, man. I've tried, tried, tried. I just can't get this thing right. I would love to say to you that what you're looking for is silver and gold. It's temporary. It's the quick fix. It's the aspirin. Today, God doesn't wanna take away your headache. He wants to cure you of cancer. That he wants to take the root, and the root, listen to me, is sin. And all of us have sinned. We've all fallen short of the glory of God. But today, Jesus is saying that even while you were yet a sinner, while you were at your worst, Christ died for you. Rarely would somebody die for somebody good. But God demonstrated his own love to you, that while you were still a sinner, Christ died for you. To pay for your sin and to put you on right standing with him.”

“You have to get up in faith. When you get up, your ankles will be strengthened. Your legs will be strengthened. You will begin to walk. You will begin to run. You will begin to leap. And then the last part of this scripture that I didn't even get to was the fact that everyone marveled when they saw him because they remembered that's the dude that used to drink too much. That's the dude that smoked too much. That's the one that gossip too much. That's the one that was constantly depressed, filled with anxiety. It could only be God that did the work in your life. And it all happens because of Jesus.”

“Hey, some of us in this room, when I mentioned that idea that we feel like we're right at the cusp of something, that we feel like, man, and we keep hitting that same wall. Feels like we get to the ceiling, it's just like, man, we fall right back down. And for some of us, we've called on the name of Jesus, but it still feels like a struggle, like it's back and forth. Like we see some really good days, but then all of a sudden, it feels like everything crashes and burns and it feels like it's a cycle. Today, God wants to be put back in order because he doesn't want that cycle to become normal. The dysfunction is not normal. In fact, God actually has another plan for you. It's not one of breaking and tearing down, but one of building up. And so here's the truth. Silver and gold I do not have, but what I do have, I give to you. Jesus Christ. So today, it's him and him lifted up in your life.”

“The priority was for them was the gathering of the saints, that they understood that there was power in this community, this thing that we call church. This isn't something that you do to check off a box. Listen to me. This is an incubator of power. It's an incubator of dreams, of purpose, of destiny. In this place, God will speak to you in such a way. I believe that my life has completely been changed, rocked, elevated in places because it started in church. Church is not something that we have to do. Church is something that we are. The gathering of the saints is something that empowers us to live the life that we are.”
