#GuardAgainstFalseGospel
“Grace cup, we need to be on the guard like Paul said to the Ephesian church. If you don't let these things come in amongst us, this wolf that pretends to be truth. We'll little bit here. Jesus. Yeah. Jesus. Yes. But what about this as well? A little bit of truth but a big lie. Be on our guard against it. And, you know, when we looked at these things, we like, we looked at the the Greek gods who desire Greek gods. But then if we look at other things, yes, perhaps we're bringing those things. We're adding them to Christ. But remember, it's Christ plus nothing. Christ plus no one. Christ alone.”

#OneMediator
“And I would say this thing of looking to the ancestors, this tribal religions that we have in our country. That's not an easy thing to get out of. The amount of family pressure that comes upon upon you to try and get out of the thing. Because if anything goes wrong, it's your fault. You weren't here to offer the goats and the sacrifices. Now that I'm a close you. It's your fault. Look what you're doing to our family. It's extreme pressure. That's right. God wants us to be free of that. He says, I'm the way, the truth, and the life. There's one mediator, and he is above all. He is above all above all the above all spirits. That's right. And we don't need people to go between us and God. Jesus Christ is the way, the truth, and the life. Christ plus nothing. Christ plus no one. Christ alone.”

#DontDiluteJesus
“what happens when you see Jesus as just imminent and not transcendent? Become buddy buddy with Jesus. Jesus is not above all others, and so we bring him down to the rest. We combine him with Allah, with Buddha, with Krishna, with Shembe, with Elon Musk, with AI. We bring it all down. He's just one of the other 100 Hindu gods. we call on him when we need stuff because, you know, we need stuff. And if he doesn't work, we'll go somewhere else. He's not transcendent. He's just imminent. He's with us. And because he's with us and God is so loving and gracious, he'll forgive us. We'll just do whatever he wants and when we're in trouble, because we know God is so good and gracious and he died on the cross, he'll forgive us. So we don't need to change our behavior. Just carry on as we are. But we forget about the holiness of God. The transcendence of God.”

#NoAddOnsToChrist
“same thing happened in the medieval church. The Roman Catholic church, they had a Christ plus priests, Christ plus Mary, plus Christ saints, plus Christ plus relics, Christ plus indulgences, Christ plus penance, Christ plus pilgrimages. And we had the Protestant movement come and say, no, it's Christ alone, Christ plus nothing. In cry in in the church of Colossae, it was Christ plus Jewish ceremonies, Christ plus spiritual intermediaries, Christ plus mystical visions and special rules and secret knowledge. What is it today that we add on to Christ to find the way to eternal life, to find the way to joy, to find the way to life?”
