#FamilyPrayerSurrender
“But maybe lead your family in a prayer that goes simply something like this. Lord, who are we? And what is our family that you have brought us this far? There's no one like you. You have been better to us than we knew even how to ask. We give you our cedar palaces and our comforts, plans, and ambitions that have taken first place. Redirect us where we run ahead of you. Establish our house for your name. We want a home that honors you whatever it takes. We give our family to you. Do as you have promised in Christ Jesus, son of David, and let this house be blessed forever in your sight. Amen.”

#PlanAndYieldToGod
“It's okay to plan. It's good to plan. It's biblical to plan. But it's never okay to not allow God to redirect those plans. I know a lot of you have struggles with change. You know, but I I did it this way. I planned it this way. It's it's point one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, and I cannot change that. If you cannot change that, you're gonna struggle because God can change it, and God does change it. And if you don't change with God, then you're not honoring God.”

#PraiseThroughDelay
“God doesn't tell David, hey, your dream's wrong. He doesn't tell him, hey, your heart is wrong. He just says, you're not the person and this is not the time. But the interesting thing is David's response is to continue to glorify God. When our response some of the times, not all the time, but some of the times, our response is to pout and withdraw.”
