“``and all of us have a prayer life. Unfortunately, sometimes our prayer lives are limited to times of trouble. Are you with me? We're motivated by problems. We're motivated by when things go wrong or when things aren't going right. We pray some of our best prayers in trouble. Jesus didn't pray his best prayers in trouble. He prayed his best prayers daily. Are you with me? And he's showing us a principle.”
65s
“Listen. love that God put that in there. He said he will do exceedingly, abundantly above all you can ask. Oh, come on y'all. God ain't limited to your ask. There's a place in God where you I thought if God did it. Hallelujah. There's a place in God where you're like, I didn't even get to think that and God did it. That's a favor in him. And so so so we see that Jesus is saying to them, he said, because of his importunity. Now you gotta understand, God is not saying no. Are you with me? He's not saying no. We we we think that God oftentimes is is saying no. He's not saying no. God just he's he's he's wanting to spend more time with you. Because see, the more time you spend with him, the more of him you get. See, you're trying to get stuff. God trying to give you him.”
59s
“But he cried the more a great deal. See, you gotta know when what what the devil is in. If Jesus is coming by and you know you gotta get his attention And somebody's telling you to be quiet. You do the opposite of you always do the opposite of what the devil wants. But he cried the more great deal. Thou son of David, have mercy on me. Jesus stood still. Jesus, I heard some input. I heard some importunity. I heard some I hear people crying all the time. I hear people making excuses and whining. I hear I hear people all the time. He said, but I heard some importunity. I heard somebody that know if they get my attention, they're gonna get what they need.”
41s
“Now we always think negative of begging. Now don't we? Now I and I and I get it. I don't think we we don't have to beg because God has made a way that we don't have to do any begging. But I want us to see the man's posture, his determination. I don't want you to see his begging. I don't want you to see his brokenness. I don't want you to see his blindness. I want you to see his determination. Are y'all with me? I'm not trying to teach you to be a beggar. I'm not trying to teach you to be broke. I'm not trying to teach you to be blind. I'm not trying to teach you to go without, but I am trying to teach you that there's a determination that gets things that you need.”
