#ForgivenAndSaved
“``Isn't that the words your shepherd shares with you? That Christ died for you. Christ rose for you. Christ has set it for you and we return again to take you home to be with him. See, that's the words of a shepherd to warn you against sin but to share with you that you are forgiven, that you have the promise of eternal life. it said this also in Romans that sin came into one man, Adam, and yet a free gift, a free gift what Christ did for you, that you have the gift of eternal life.”

#CoveredByEaglesWings
“Hundred and fifty three years that's been shared with this congregation. You think the lord hasn't ever stopped boring you on eagle's wings? Do you think he's ever left you? He's always here for you, to be with you. He will never abandon you. He is covering you with those eagle's wings. So think about it. As you go forward, both in word and sacrament, Think of what the lord has provided for you.”

#BeTheHarvest
“And I think as we look at god's word today, it's just a perfect example of god continues to work in our lives. As I read that gospel this morning from Matthew, and Jesus is preparing his disciples to go out and share the good news, to preach to the lost sheep of Israel, preach that the kingdom of heaven is at hand, And we are called to pray to the lord of harvest for workers. As I shared with the children today, you and I are called to be workers to go and share Jesus wherever we go.”

#BaptizedByTheWord
“Baptized into Christ. They are his children just like you and I are. Baptized through simple water, but it's not the water, it's the word. God's word, father, son, holy spirit. So he's gonna provide you a shepherd. I don't know if it's gonna be the first one that you call or not. That's in the lord's hands. If it is, thank the lord. But if it isn't, be prepared because you see, when you think of those words from Romans eight, all things work together for good. For those who love god according to his purpose.”
