#FaithOverFear
“Am embarrassed to admit to you that my first reaction was sheer panic. It's it's one thing to speak a little Spanish and order a meal in a restaurant or something. It's another thing to pray in Spanish. I was not confident. I also knew that I I didn't wanna be disrespectful, and to have turned down that opportunity would have been disrespectful. So I swallowed the lump in my throat. I took the hands of my beautiful Guatemalan sisters, and I'm gonna tell you, I led them in a really, really broken prayer. God was able to look beyond my inadequacy, and he saw the hearts of those women, and he welcomed them into the community of believers that day, writing their names in the book of life.”

#MissionsMatter
“We have been in the hand of God. I can't think of a better way to describe the last three years of our lives in international missions. God is holding us. We want to remind you that you are a part of that. God is using you. There are things happening right here in Ceilings Grove Church of the Nazarene that you won't know this till you get to heaven, but there will be people in heaven that are only gonna be there because of what you did here in this church. Maybe you gave to the World Evangelism Fund. Maybe you put some coins in your kid's hand and sent them down to children's church to give to alabaster. Maybe you participated in a Nazarene missions team or sponsored a child. Those things have eternal consequences, eternal rewards.”

#BetterTogether
“We want to foster two groups of people truly working as one. Usually, that's a team from The US and a team from Central America, a local church or district. Each one of these groups is invested in the project. They come together, and the results produce something that neither one of those groups would have been able to do on their own. It's a beautiful example of how God forms his body to accomplish a task.”
