Day 1: Where the Spirit of the Lord Is, There Is Freedom

True freedom is found in the presence of God, where His Spirit brings liberty from fear, anxiety, and every chain that binds us. When we gather to worship, we are invited to experience this freedom by surrendering ourselves fully—holding nothing back, letting praise rise above our circumstances, and allowing God to break down every wall in our lives. This freedom is not just a feeling but a reality that transforms us from the inside out, making us alive in Christ and able to walk in victory no matter what we face. [06:15]

"Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom."

Reflection: What is one area of your life where you feel bound or held back? How can you invite the Holy Spirit into that area today and choose to walk in the freedom He offers?

Day 2: The Power of Your Story Comes from the Spirit

The power in your testimony is not in eloquent words or persuasive arguments, but in the demonstration of the Holy Spirit’s power and the truth of what God has done in your life. Like Paul, you are called to share your story with courage and clarity, knowing that it is God’s Spirit who brings transformation and hope to those who hear. Your story, rooted in God’s work, has the power to open eyes, move hearts, and point others to the reality of Jesus—especially when you speak with honesty, grace, and love. [37:29]

Day 3: Obedience and Faithfulness Over Comfort

Paul’s life shows us that following Jesus is not about seeking personal comfort or worldly success, but about radical obedience and faithfulness to God’s call—even when it leads to hardship or sacrifice. He was more interested in telling people about Jesus than in being liked, safe, or comfortable. True discipleship means being willing to go to the front lines, to run toward the needs and crises of others, and to let nothing matter more than Jesus. [57:17]

"Therefore, O King Agrippa, I was not disobedient to the heavenly vision, but declared first to those in Damascus, then in Jerusalem and throughout all the region of Judea, and also to the Gentiles, that they should repent and turn to God, performing deeds in keeping with their repentance. For this reason the Jews seized me in the temple and tried to kill me. To this day I have had the help that comes from God, and so I stand here testifying both to small and great, saying nothing but what the prophets and Moses said would come to pass: that the Christ must suffer and that, by being the first to rise from the dead, he would proclaim light both to our people and to the Gentiles."

Day 4: Don’t Be Almost Persuaded—Say Yes to Jesus

King Agrippa was almost persuaded by Paul’s testimony, but he stopped short of surrendering to Jesus because of what he was unwilling to let go of. Many people believe in God but never take the step to truly follow Christ, missing out on the freedom and eternal life He offers. The difference between “almost” and “all in” is the willingness to walk away from whatever holds you back and to say a wholehearted yes to Jesus, allowing Him to transform your life. [01:04:42]

"Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world—the desires of the flesh and the desires of the eyes and pride in possessions—is not from the Father but is from the world. And the world is passing away along with its desires, but whoever does the will of God abides forever."

Reflection: Is there something or someone in your life that you know is keeping you from fully following Jesus? What step can you take today to surrender that to Him?

Day 5: The Conviction of the Holy Spirit Leads to Freedom

When the Holy Spirit convicts us, He shines a light on the things in our hearts that are hurting us or holding us back from God’s best. This conviction is not meant to shame us, but to invite us into confession, repentance, and the freedom that only Christ can give. Hidden sin cannot be healed, but when we respond to the Spirit’s prompting with honesty and surrender, God is faithful to forgive, cleanse, and set us free to walk in newness of life. [01:09:06]

The conviction of the Holy Spirit shines a light on these areas, inviting us to confess, repent, and step into true freedom.

As we closed, I encouraged everyone to respond to the Spirit’s prompting—whether that means beginning a relationship with Jesus, returning to Him after wandering, or letting go of something that has become more important than Christ. God is enough for every need, and He is a miracle-working God. Let us not settle for being “almost persuaded,” but say yes to Jesus, allowing His presence and power to transform us and send us out to bring His light and hope to the world.

When we let go of what holds us back—whether it’s pride, pleasure, or possessions—and say yes to Jesus, we find the freedom, hope, and transformation our hearts long for. “You know, part of as we continue to grow as Christ followers, you know, Paul talked a lot about actually maturing as followers of Jesus and not just staying at sort of the elementary state, but as the years go by and the decades go by, we continue to mature and we continue to grow in our relationship with Jesus.”

I don't know whether it was an indoor venue or an outside venue, but there was a large crowd listening to Paul uh defend himself and and testify before the king. But his message was really centered on the king. He wanted the gospel, the good news of Jesus Christ to be heard uh by the king himself. So he made his testimony, his appeal very personal.”

“Paul is suggesting and establishing where he used to be that he was someone that was full of so much anger as a young man. He wanted Christians dead or silenced. He wanted to he wanted to snuff them out if he possibly could or participate in whatever way, give consent uh or or whatever way, hunting down those that were beginning to follow Jesus in various places where the gospel was going.”

“I just wanted to remind all of us today and everybody knows it. Anger is not a fruit of the spirit. There are nine fruits of the Holy Spirit and anger is not one of them. Now, I do know there's such a thing as righteous anger. So, I acknowledge that a lot of our our anger is not righteous. We know that, right? Uh that we should always choose gentleness over harshness or unkindness.”

“It's not fictional. It's not a madeup story. It's what Jesus has done in your life. It's what Jesus has done in my life. We tell people that story. We we tell people, we share with people the reason for the hope that we have within us. I'm not God's attorney. I don't have to defend God. I don't have to defend Jesus. But I do have an obligation scripturally, biblically speaking, to share about the hope that I have within me.”

“Paul's mission was very clear to him. He re he understood his why. He understood uh what his mission was, what God was leading him to do and and where he was leading him to go. His mission was to open eyes to open up people's spiritual eyes to the good news of Jesus and to help them move from darkness to light. It's the mission that all of us have those of us that are following Jesus today.”

“Paul was more interested in telling people about Jesus than in personal freedom and personal comfort. It was the most important thing uh in his life. He was more interested in obedience and faithfulness than he was in any measure of worldly success. To him, obedience and faithfulness was more important than being liked by the crowd.”

“If someone looked at your life today, would they see that nothing matters more to you than Jesus? If they shadowed you for 24 hours from them watching your actions, them listening to your words, would they conclude, man, that person is allin for Jesus? That person that Jesus is the most important thing uh in their whole life. I hope that that would be true.”

“For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved, it is the power of God." Says in the New Living Translation, "The message of the cross is foolish to those who are headed for destruction." So, I I want to just talk for a moment to those of you who actually consider Christianity and Christians uh crazy.”

“Because the crazy people, those that you think are a bit insane, may be the most sest people you know in your world. They might be the ones that actually know the truth. the very truth that can set you that can set you free. Because what Paul says in verse 25, he says, "What I'm saying is true and reasonable."”

“Almost persuaded will not get you to heaven. There are many people who believe in God. I see the stats regularly. How many Americans believe in God? There's a lot of people who believe in God. The percentage is very high. Most people don't have either the courage or they actually believe in God, but they don't have the courage to say they don't believe in God.”

“But people believe in God, but they they're not following Jesus. See the disconnect there? They believe in God, yet they're going to spend eternity separated from God, from the love of God, because they refuse to repent of their sins, and they reject Jesus as their Lord and Savior. And because of that, they will be separated eternally from the love of God.”

“The distance from our head to our heart. Sometimes we know what we need to do, but we have difficulty making that choice that we need to make, that next step that is out there before us in following Jesus. And I happen to believe that the Holy Spirit is present in this room today.”
