God’s healing is not a distant hope but a present reality, already purchased and provided through the finished work of Jesus Christ. The question is not whether God can heal, but whether it is His will—and Jesus answered this clearly when He said, “I will,” to the leper who wondered if healing was for him. You do not have to convince God or twist His arm; He is the healer, and His will is to heal you—spirit, soul, and body. Settle it in your heart today: Jesus is the healer, and your healing has been provided for. [01:08:27]
Matthew 8:1-3 (ESV)
When he came down from the mountain, great crowds followed him. And behold, a leper came to him and knelt before him, saying, “Lord, if you will, you can make me clean.” And Jesus stretched out his hand and touched him, saying, “I will; be clean.” And immediately his leprosy was cleansed.
Reflection: Is there an area of your life where you’ve doubted God’s willingness to heal or restore you? Can you bring that doubt honestly to Jesus today and let His “I will” settle it in your heart?
When you give what you have to God, He multiplies it far beyond what you could imagine, just as Jesus multiplied the loaves and fishes to feed thousands. God’s principle is clear: “Give, and it shall be given to you—good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over.” What you place in His hands, He increases and returns, not just for your own blessing but for the furtherance of His kingdom. Trust Him with what you have, and watch Him add His abundance to your offering. [20:31]
Luke 6:38 (ESV)
“Give, and it will be given to you. Good measure, pressed down, shaken together, running over, will be put into your lap. For with the measure you use it will be measured back to you.”
Reflection: What is one area—time, resources, encouragement—where you can give to God or others today, trusting Him to multiply it for His glory?
Faith is not a one-time event but a continual process of hearing and meditating on God’s Word. Just as athletes must practice to perform well, believers must go over the “playbook”—the Bible—again and again to build faith and be ready to receive from God. The more you hear, speak, and meditate on the Word, the more your faith grows, positioning you to receive all that God has for you. Don’t let your spiritual life be hit-and-miss; make time in the Word a daily practice. [43:58]
Romans 10:17 (ESV)
So faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ.
Reflection: What specific step can you take today to increase your time in God’s Word, so your faith is strengthened to receive what He has promised?
Receiving from God is not about convincing Him to give, but about positioning yourself to receive what He is already broadcasting. Like tuning a radio to the right frequency, you must draw near, stay in the Word, and keep your heart open—because the supply is always there, but reception depends on your position. If you feel distant or struggle to receive, it’s not a sign of failure but a call to realign, draw close, and tune in to the finished work of Christ. [56:12]
James 4:8 (ESV)
Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded.
Reflection: Is there a practical way you can “tune in” to God’s presence today—perhaps by setting aside distractions or intentionally drawing near in prayer and worship?
God’s blessing, peace, and anointing are not just for individuals but for entire families. He desires to work in and through your household, bringing restoration, protection, and generational faith. Lay down your fears and worries for your loved ones at Jesus’ feet, and declare His lordship over your family. Trust that God is moving, sending laborers, and drawing hearts back to Him—He is the God who shows off His goodness in families. [01:42:51]
Acts 16:31 (ESV)
And they said, “Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved, you and your household.”
Reflection: Who in your family needs God’s touch or salvation today? Will you pray specifically for them, trusting God to move in your household and bring His blessing?
God has already provided healing, wholeness, and every spiritual blessing we need through the finished work of Jesus Christ. Healing is not something we are waiting for; it is something that has already been purchased for us at Calvary. Whether it’s in our bodies, our emotions, or our spirits, the supply is there—our part is to receive. Just as Jesus declared in Luke 6:38, “Give, and it shall be given unto you,” there is a spiritual principle at work: when we release what’s in our hand to God, He multiplies it, adds His anointing, and brings it back to us in greater measure. This is not just about finances, but about every area of life—healing, wisdom, breakthrough, and more.
Receiving from God is not passive. It requires us to be “practiced up” in the Word, just like an athlete who runs the plays over and over until they can execute them without thinking. Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God, and it is faith that positions us to receive what God has already provided. Many times, the issue is not on God’s end—His supply is abundant and constant, like a radio signal always broadcasting. The problem is often on our end: we’re not tuned in, we’re not in position, or we’ve drifted away from the source.
It’s important to understand that struggling to receive does not make anyone a lesser Christian. It simply means we need to get back into the playbook—the Bible—and meditate on God’s promises until faith rises in our hearts. Jesus made it clear that it is God’s will to heal, to restore, and to bless. The woman with the issue of blood received her healing not just because Jesus was present, but because she heard, believed, and reached out in faith. Faith is the hand that receives from God.
God moves in families, and His desire is to bring wholeness, peace, and blessing to every household. The enemy may try to sow fear, anxiety, or division, but God’s power is greater. As we lay down our worries and trust Him, we can expect to see His hand at work in our lives and in our families. The key is to keep going over the Word, keep our hearts tuned to His promises, and boldly receive what He has already provided.
Give, and it shall be given good measure, pressed down, shaken together, running over. He said, I'll cause people to give and cause it to come back into your bosom. With the same measure that you meet withal, it shall be measured to you again. [00:21:14]
Come on, when I take what I have and give it to him, which I have it because he gave it to me anyhow, and I honor him with that, how much more will he be able to add his to what I gave? Praise the Lord. [00:24:09]
What happened? They took what that little boy had, which was not enough, but it was what he had, and put it in the hands of Jesus, what he did. He blessed it. It multiplied. Listen. And so it went to where it was going, multiplied, fed, took care of thousands. The leftovers was more than the little boy had when he started. [00:27:43]
If you're going to make the varsity squad in high school one it was going to require some dedication it was going to require practice if you went on to the college level even kids that are good have a lot of natural ability practiced a little bit in high school I see a lot of them go on to college and within the first semester I talked to them at the end of that and they're no longer playing ball I said why not it was too much practice you can't be a bunch of Allen Iverson's practice you want to talk about practice practice you can't be like that right and they go improve the same really applies to the word of God. [00:37:58]
You really don't want hit and miss practice getting in the word you really don't want hit and miss time being in the word speaking the word praying the word out because all of a sudden you're going to be in what we call like a tight spot right you're going to be you're going to be needing to make a play to win a game right I'm all in life and so if you're not practiced up if you're not understanding you know you the all the really good quarterbacks actually most of the time have to be also really intelligent unless they're a freak athlete they cannot be dumb and be the quarterback right. [00:38:51]
So in life we're presented with intense moments sometimes where uh it's success or it's failure and you will find that you deal with failure more when you allow yourself to live a lifestyle out of practice where you're not in the practice of being in the word where you're not in the practice of praying or not in the practice of going over that and over that in the word again and again right because romans 10 17 says what what's it say and how does faith come by hearing and hearing by the word of god. [00:40:41]
Jesus already went to the cross right and so Jesus has already shed his blood for us and so Jesus has already done everything necessary for our healing right and so what do we have to do he don't got to go to the cross again for me to receive my healing he don't God has shed his blood again for me to be healed? No. Everything necessary for my healing has already been done. The healing anointing is always available to me. [00:45:06]
If you're having trouble receiving, it does not mean that you're a bad Christian. Are you listening to me? How many of you ever felt like, I have trouble receiving? Like, just like, I don't know why I haven't received this yet. Why have I not received the wisdom that I need? Why have I not received this healing that I need? Why have I not received this breakthrough or that breakthrough or whatever it is you believe in God for? Have you ever been to that place? You're like, well, I thought I would have received by now. [00:46:18]
So if you're a bad receiver, if you're slow about receiving or you have trouble receiving, this does not mean you're off the team. This does not mean you will not walk streets of gold with everybody else like Billy Graham or Oral Roberts or something like that. Right? But it is going to play a role in how you're living life. It's going to literally impact how you're going through life. And whatever it is you're trying to receive from God, I can promise you it is not on God's end. [00:47:49]
There is a stock. There is an inventory. Dial it up. Just as sure as Amazon, your healing is there and is paid for. It is yours. Come on. We just ready to receive it. We just need to be ready to receive it. Right? And so sometimes we've got more trust in Amazon than we do in God. [00:49:09]
Jesus went to the cross. Jesus shed his blood. That crown of thorns was placed upon his head. He took your place in sin. He took your place in death. Why? So that we could be made the righteousness of God in Christ. So we could take his place in life. Come on. He took those stripes and shed his blood. For what purpose? So that we could receive healing. Come on. That has already been done. It has already been purchased. Come on. Quit losing sleep over it. Quit struggling and wondering, is it going to show up or not? Is it for me or not? No, no, Jesus already went to the cross. Jesus already paid the price. He already raised up from the dead. He already took his blood and put it on the mercy seat in heaven. [00:50:33]
If you order a new chair or a new couch or something and they're bringing it to you, what do you got to do? Well, you're probably not keeping something that you already got. So what are you going to do? You're going to get that piece. You're going to move it somewhere else or you're going to put it on a marketplace for someone else to enjoy, right? Well, same thing. Jesus has made this purchase. What do you need to do? You need to make preparation right here on your side because it's not on God's side. Package is bought. Package is packed. It is ready for delivery. I'm on the inventory is there. There is no shortage in heaven on health, on healing, on breakthrough, on victory. Are you listening to me? No shortage. No shortage. [00:51:53]
Think about the cross as the radio tower. Come on. Think about the finished work of Jesus Christ as the radio station. Friend, I'm telling you, come on, from that moment and all throughout eternity, that signal will never stop going out. Come on. There will be no signal lost, no signal failure from the finished work of Christ. There could, however, be a receiving problem. [00:56:20]
Some people fail to realize the importance of receiving. Because some folks sit there and go, everything is all on God. I have zero part to play. That is incorrect according to Scripture. That is incorrect according to Scripture. [00:58:53]
Let me tell you what God is. He's a faith God. And so what some people miss in the Bible is that God sets things in place. God pays for things. God takes care of things. He provides things. Let me tell you something, though. We have to receive it. We have to be able to receive it. [01:01:12]
And so one of the biggest things about healing is the ability to receive. And so if you have no knowledge of the playbook, for those of you that have missed the entire service, wondering, when he says playbook, what do you figure he's talking about? All right, I'm talking about this. All right, I'm talking about your Bible. [01:02:03]
If you have no knowledge of the playbook, for those of you that have missed the entire service, wondering, when he says playbook, what do you figure he's talking about? All right, I'm talking about this. All right, I'm talking about your Bible. Some people are like, playbook. I ain't never seen one of them in church. I've seen hymnals. I've seen Bibles. All right, we're talking about the Bible. That's the playbook. All right? [01:02:10]
So God has put it in His Word that if you're going to receive from Him, it's going to be by faith. And so the idea that God is just orchestrating every single thing that comes down the pike in your life according to the Word, incorrect. [01:04:34]
He tells you in His Word. So He showed up to Moses when they needed that water to be made unbitter. He didn't say that I'm the God that maketh thee sick. What did He tell Moses? He revealed Himself there as Jehovah Rapha. [01:05:32]
They came to hear and to be healed. This is not the only mention of this in the Gospels, by the way. Just a little before you got here, that statement was made again. They came to hear and to be healed. What's happening while you're hearing? Romans 10, 17 is happening. That's why these guys were here saying faith. Because what? We're hearing the Word. And when we hear the Word, what happens, faith comes. Faith is how we receive. Faith is like the antenna, right, that pulls in the signal. [01:10:09]
The healing anointing of God is in here right now. The healing power of God is in here right now. While Jesus was talking over here in Luke chapter 5, verse 17, he says, and it came to pass on a certain day as he was teaching. What am I doing right now? Teaching. Teaching what? Teaching the word, teaching the gospel. As he was teaching, there were Pharisees and doctors of the law sitting by, which were come out of every town of Galilee and Judea and Jerusalem and what? And the power of the Lord, and the power of the Lord was present to heal them. The healing power of God is here right now in this room, right here in this moment. The signal is being broadcast. Amen. [01:12:37]
When the woman with the issue of blood received healing, Jesus turned to her when he saw her and said what? Daughter, let me get you started. Sometimes I find in class, if I get them started, they can remember. What's it says? Daughter, your faith. King James says, thy faith has what? Made you whole. Now, was it only because Jesus was there and she got healed? Nope. Did Jesus have a question that she was even supposed to get healed? Did you talk to my daddy about this before you did that? Nope. What he did? He turned. He said, daughter, thy faith has made thee whole. Because what had happened? She heard of Jesus and she said, if I may touch but to him of his garment, I know I shall be made whole. What was she doing? Receiving. Receiving. Then what she did? She put corresponding action to her faith, pressed through the crowd, reached out with the hand of faith, and made a connection. [01:14:01]
Unbelief is the thief. Unbelief is a blocker to me receiving. And so Jesus went around and gave the cure for the unbelief so they could receive. Are you listening to me? And so when we talk about healing, we have to position ourselves to receive. And one of the biggest things people got to get a hold of to be able to receive is that it actually is God's will to heal them. [01:19:07]
Don't forget the Lord's benefits. Don't forget the Lord's benefits. Well, what are they? He forgives all of my iniquities. Aren't you glad? I'm glad. And he what? Healeth all. Say that. All. Heals all our diseases. Delivers my life from destruction. [01:20:10]
You will become a better receiver when you go over the book. Don't talk to me about, I want in the game. Don't talk to me about, I want this, and I want to do that from God, and this from God, and you ain't gone over the book. You ain't learned the plays. Don't come talking to me about, I need this, I want that. No, no, no, we're going to know you want that when you go over the book. We're going to know you're serious about being a part of this team when you go over the playbook and can run the plays. I'm correlating this to you receiving. We're going to know you're ready to receive when you're going over the book. [01:21:56]
God's will is to heal. You don't got to talk Him into it. You don't got to convince Him. You don't got to twist His arm. He is the healer. He don't got to do something again in order for you to receive healing in your situation right now. He's already done it. And the moment that you get to this place, you'll start receiving it. I'm not trying to get healed. The healing anointing is available to me. He has already purchased it. I am healed. [01:23:10]
Jesus is the healer. I am the healed. God, you can apply this to your physical body. You can apply this to your emotions. Come on. You don't have to walk in depression. You don't got to walk in anxiety. You don't have to walk in fear. You don't have to walk in bipolarism. My chemicals are off. Look, I'm not making fun of that. Don't misunderstand me. Come on. You sit there and say, my chemicals are off. That's why I'm dealing with that. Let me tell you something. The Lord will heal you in your chemicals. [01:23:57]
It often astonishes me that I did not see the importance of meditation upon Scripture earlier in my Christian life. As the outward man, listen now, as the outward man is not fit for work for any length of time unless he eats, so it is with the inner man. What is the food for the inner man? It's not prayer, not prayer alone. What do you mean? Well, your praying needs to be a particular way. It needs to be the Word of God. If your prayer sounds like, Lord, if you start with if, start your prayer over. So why do you mean? Well, we already know you're not starting from a place of faith. You need to make an adjustment before you pray real quick. So it's not prayer, but it's what? It's the Word of God. Not just simple reading of it, that it passes through just as water runs through a pipe. No, we have to consider what we read, to ponder over it, apply it to our hearts. That's what meditating on God's Word does. That's going over the playbook so that I can receive. Praise the Lord. [01:26:56]
My favorite verse in the Bible is Philemon 6, and I really like the Labar translation in particular a lot. And it says, I pray that everyone who meets you would catch your faith and learn from you how wonderful it is to live in Christ. And so this morning, you come up here, and you're going to put your faith and your trust in the Lord Jesus Christ. You come up here this morning as a declaration that Jesus is Lord. He is not just Lord on a throne in heaven, but he is Lord in my heart. He is Lord in my home, in my household. He is Lord over my family. Faith runs in my family. The peace of God runs in my family. Wisdom runs in my family. Joy runs in my family. The Holy Ghost runs in my family. Hallelujah. Jesus is Lord. Jesus is Lord. Jesus is Lord. [01:40:40]
