#PrayerIsCommunion
“How about this one? The consecration. Lord, I dedicate my life to you. I dedicate my heart to you. Lord, I don't trust myself with my future. I only trust you. See, that's a prayer of dedication. But all these are not about honoring him. All these are about communion with him. Lord, come in. Be a part. So what am I trying to say? Now get this. This is as simple as it gets in my opinion. Listen. Why do we pray? To have fellowship with him. It's about fellowship. Listen to this. Because he wants to be close to us. So here's the way I see prayer. It's not about honoring or dishonoring God. It's about inviting him into what we got going on. Do I invite him everywhere? Absolutely. Do I sing to him in the shower? I think he stays outside, but, yeah. Praise God.”

#IncludeGodInLife
“Why? Because I'm intimate with her. I love her. I want her to be a part of what I'm doing. And you know what? I didn't say I wanted her in the boat. She don't wanna be in the boat. I just FaceTime her. You know what I mean? I had Jesus in the boat. We were good. But listen, I want her to be a part of my world. I want her to be a part of what I got going on. And I look at God the same way. I want him to be a part of me. I want him to be a part of what I'm doing. I wanna let him know that I appreciate everything he's done. It's communion. Listen to this. Thanksgiving, confession, and repentance. Lord, I'm sorry. I missed it. Lord, I I missed that. Oh, Lord. Hey. Change my heart on that, God. How about this one? You ready? The prayer of agreement. Lord, I agree with heaven.”

#BibleDescribesNotPrescribes
“He was supposed to have one wife. He went the other way. So now here's where here's where I get to your question. Here it is. What is the Bible trying to tell us? There's two ways to interpret it. If you stand on one side of the fence, in other words, you want multiple wives, you might think it's saying one thing. If you stand on the other side of the fence, you'll come to learn that it means something else. Here's my point. Is this a prescription on how to live or a description of what men did and the consequences? See, I am of the opinion that this is not prescription. This is description. God is declaring this is what happens when you go that path. I believe that's what it's saying. It's not telling you this is what it should be. Matter of fact, in the question, the question was look at this right here. It says, pastor Charlie preaches multiple times. God does not change his mind. Hold up. Time out. Who told you God was a polygamist? Who told you God believes in polygamy? Who told you God is for polygamy?”

#BibleContextMatters
“Priscilla and Aquila. Thank you. Priscilla and Aquila. You know what I mean? So there are other places where he's encouraging women to minister. You you follow me? So when you see that where he says women should be silent, but then he encourages women, then you gotta know the Bible is not in contradiction against itself. You have to go find out the context of why he's saying that. Does that make sense, everybody? That is a sure way to dig deep and to find out what's going on in those Bible verses. Does that make sense, everybody? So that's how I do it. If I'm reading along and I see something that I'm like, that don't make sense. Why is that there? I immediately go digging after it to find out what that is and what that's all about. Not to justify what I wanna believe, but to find out what the Bible is teaching. Does that make sense, everybody? Alright. Here's number what are we on? Three? Here we go.”

#ReadTheContext
“Always know that if you start at the beginning of a chapter reading and you're not getting a clear picture, and people do this, they'll start reading at the beginning of a chapter, and it seems fuzzy what's going on. Always back up. Always back up. Always like if you're reading, you know I'm I'm gonna use this example. You know, John chapter three verse one, and you start reading, and it seems like it's in the middle of a thought, back up to the beginning of the thought so that you can get the whole context.”

#LookForContradictions
“Because I will tell you, there are places in your Bible where the chapter breaks are perfectly fine. They're perfectly fine. You can pick up a new thought right there, and it's not a problem. John three being one of those. Then there are other places where the chapters start that I'm like, how in the world did they get that? You have to back up. Always back up and get it all in context. Just wanted to give you that little bit of a reading hint. Now here's the thing I would tell you, though. Here's your answer to that. I've kinda, you know, beat around it. Let me be very clear as to what the answer is to this. Number one, usually, but not always, look for things that seem like contradictions in the scripture.”

#CouncilOfFallenAngels
“Simply, council of gods in your Bible, notice it's always small g, the council of gods. God sits in their midst and judges them. That tells you they're not equals. Who is he talking about? Is the rebellious angels and their offspring who tried to keep Jesus from being born to this day and to this day are trying to stop the soon return of Christ. That's who they are. He stood in their midst when they tried to stop Jesus coming to the earth, and he judged them. Do you see what I'm saying? They're the council of gods. They're not humans. They're fallen beings, falling entities who are trying to destroy man.”

#ContextIsKing
“If you've been here long, you know this. Context Amen. Context is king. You never exclude the context. Never. Never exclude the context. Always look at what is going on in that portion of scripture contextually. That that's the first thing. There's another part I wanna look at, though. do I know when it should be applied? I'm gonna show you how. And since the chapter markers are not in the original text, I don't think the chapter markers are that big a deal. I don't think they change the context or change the way you read the Bible. Here's what I would say.”
